We stayed at the St. Anthony 10/20/21 - 10/25/21 and really enjoyed it. The hospitality staff was very accommodating and professional at all levels from front desk to bartenders to the sunny breakfast room. The breakfast options were delicious and we were especially impressed with the attentiveness of the food and beverage supervisor, Jason White. The pool was a great feature considering the heat/humidity we had not anticipated. The hotel location is great for dinners, entertainment and city tours. The only thing we would have wanted different is that our teen daughter slept on the pull-out sofa in our suite and it was not comfortable for her.

Hotel is old and rundown. Toilet has been running since I got here. Opened the curtains in the presidential suite and the entire rod fell down. Customer service is non existent. Embarrassing for my wedding party. Would not recommend.

If you want to feel like a rich Texan at the turn of the 1900's this the place to be. Everything about this place is very nice. Even the old tile that has cracks and chips is stunning. It feels elegant and well kept. The rooms are small but furnished nicely and extremely clean.

Very nice property. Service is impeccable. Be prepared to hand out lots of tips. Roof top venue was fabulous at night. Haunted bar was fun but bartendress was a little snippy.

The hotel was awesome and the room was great. The TV in the bathroom mirror was cool. The valet service was swift, proffesional, and very welcoming. Dillon the valet manager even took the extra time to tell about the history and the amenities of the hotel. The whole staff made us feel like royalty.

The hotel itself is a cool, historic building with a lot of character. It is located near the riverwalk and convenient to restaurants. The on-site bar/restaurant are good and not too overpriced. That's where the good stops.

It's dirty. From the time you walk in the door, baseboards, walls, everything - dirty. When we got to the room, it had been prepared, but there were dirty cups, cup rings on the tables and some type of a fluid stain on the chaise.

It's located in an area where homeless people congregate (the park across the street), so it's uncomfortable walking near the hotel after dark.

The parking is among the most expensive of any hotel I've been to ($45 a night), so if you plan to have car, keep that in mind.

It wasn't the worst hotel experience I've had, but I wouldn't come back.

Amazing room, good room service options, and accommodating staff. The valets seem to have to park the cars 3 miles away, so call ahead to give them some extra time, but they are all so helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

The room was beautiful, spacious and inviting. We could hear some great Sunday afternoon music from a live band at a pub across the street. The staff were patient, and accommodating.

Noise from a bar that has motorcycle clients, they tend to rev their motors and they are very loud, in the middle of the night, make sure you book your stay on the right side of the hotel. Otherwise its great.

Some guest smoking weed at the pool area while i had my kids and babies. I wish the staff will be more careful with the activities of their guests in public areas. Other than that we received great customer service and beautiful remodeled hotel with fantastic decor. Definitely coming back and looking forward to enjoy our stay without any issues at the pool area!

First off, big shout out to Liz! She was fracking Amazing! She is the reason for the 5 stars! The hotel itself is lovely but definitely older, i would give the rooms themselves 5 stars but the pool and gym a 3 stars. The staff tho is like a 6 or 7. Super on top of it, very helpful willing to accommodate no problem. We asked for a fridge and microwave, it was no problem, they brought it up like 5 minutes after we called, they helped us with an earlier checkin and late checkout. They where just super amazing and they reason we had such a great stay!

Just want to give special props to your valet team, I don't think they receive enough credit for all they do! We are local and visit Rebelle every few months, we always choose to park valet for the convenience and security. Tonight your team was on point and helpful. We just love y'all, thank you!

Don’t recommend this hotel. I stayed here and unfortunately left a suit in the room. Called lost and found and left two messages that were not returned. Called a third time and requested another manager after I was asked fo leave a third message. The person answering the phone named Mallory tried to take a message again and then placed me on hold for over 20 minutes after I asked another time to speak to a manager. Not great customer service…. Suggest their luxury description is exaggerated.

Update…still haven’t heard from the hotel weeks later.

Update…still crickets

This Five-Star review is particularly given to Ms. Mandy, the supervisor of the hotel front desk. She is a very nice, professional, considerate lady. Although there were some issues during my stay, she took well care of my case and made me feel being respected. I personally think it is a great honor for the hotel having such a great staff. Hope the hotel can keep improving and make great success.

The hotel lobby, restaurants, and decorations are beautiful, timeless, and relaxing. The hotel pool is like going to a college frat party. The hotel has been selling day passes to the general public for $29.00. There is nothing on the Marriott website clueing guest staying at the hotel that it’s a public pool. If you log on to “RESORTPASS. COM” and search the St. Anthony hotel you can choose packages ranging from $29.00-$550. The music is so loud that you have to yell at the bartender so they can hear what you are saying. There a people twerking, garbage and personal belongings strewn all over the pool deck. My husband and I are from out of state and we were looking forward to relaxing by the pool for our 10th anniversary. When we arrived on Saturday there was no place to sit at the pool. We thought that it would be better on Sunday when most people would check out. Unfortunately it wasn’t and it turned out that the majority of people at the pool were not guests at the hotel. I complained to Will the pool manager and he was rude and dismissive. It was the first time someone has been rude to me since we arrived in Texas. We complained to the front lobby supervisor and he told us the pool and food service wetr separate from the front lobby. At least he gave us the general managers name. If you are booking your hotel and want to relax at the pool in San Antonio, book at the Marriott River Walk, they do not sell day passes to their pool…. Yet.
