Very nice B&B. Quiet neighborhood.
Great bed. Bath tub was a little tricky to take a shower for some seniors but all in all, had a Great time. David is very knowledgeable.

Look no further, the Steamboat Inn is the place to book for a stay in Jefferson! I've visited the town several times and this is by far my best experience even though other places I stayed were certainly nice. Alex and Lana are the ultimate hosts and give such attention to every detail of your stay with the friendliest and most welcoming way that makes you feel so at home. From the German Christmas wine available for sharing in the foyer to the homemade, piping hot breakfast the next day, we loved every minute. We spent time swinging on the front porch in the afternoon sunshine and later and sat around the fire in the firepit in the evening after easy walking to restaurants and shops. If I could have imagined the most perfect Christmas weekend stay in a Hallmark-like town, this would be it.

The Steamboat Inn is the most extraordinary hotel that I've come across as a well-traveled swiss journalist in recent years. The rooms in the Victorian-style guest house are lovingly furnished, from the breakfast table to the four-poster bed. A little paradise in the most beautiful small town in Texas.

I will never forget my hostess Lana and will certainly return to the Steamboat Inn!

Great location, only a couple blocks from down town. So welcoming, and breakfast is amazing.

We loved all of the seating areas outside, especially the fire when we got back from dinner. The Mardi Gras room is really nice and has its own patio and swing.

We were so happy with our first visit, by the time we were on our way back home we were already planning our second trip lol. We made SURE to book again with this lovely inn first chance we got, it’s such a beautiful establishment and it’s really set our vacation off on the right foot each time we’ve come. The Lady of the house is SO super sweet and puts together an in-cre-di-ble homemade breakfast, and the inn-keeper is also very sweet and very personable. He really knows how to get a group of strangers talking over breakfast! Great personality! It’s all too clear that together they’ve put a lot of hard work and care into running this place. Both rooms that we’ve had the privilege of staying in have been so clean and so gorgeously decorated, and the establishment itself is in the PERFECT location! Just a 5-6 minute stroll, with beautiful scenery might I add, into town where all kinds of yummy, lively restaurants and antique shopping centers await. Truly a trip worth taking, and a b&b well worth staying in. Can’t wait to make it back next year! 5 stars all around ️️️️️

My partner and I stayed at this b&b about a year ago and it was a very pleasant experience. Great hospitality, unique rooms, very clean and everything is within walking distance! Breakfast cooked fresh and slept comfortably. Thank you for such a lovely stay, we'll be visiting again in a few days and we're very excited!:)

ATTENTION ALL JEFFERSON-BOUND TOURISTS.if you don't stay at this B&B, you're not only paying too much somewhere else, but you're also missing out on a wonderful experience. The proprietor Lana and her manager Dave are the absolute best hosts anyone could ask for. The home is unreal, the place is spotless, and the breakfast is HOMEMADE. We have stayed there 2 years in a row, both times for 6 days, the latest stay just last week during the Diamond Don's 21st Annual Vintage Motocross race and would never stay anywhere else, regardless of price. Thank you, Lana & Dave.we will be back, even if Diamond Don's decides NOT to hold his event next year, just so we can stay a week in Jefferson and with you both.

Wonderful b&b with awesome staff/ owners. Breakfast was great and toom was comfortable. Very relaxing atmosphere, especially the porches! Appreciated the 24 hour coffee, tea, and wine. Also glad for the option of having 3 in the room, as we were traveling with our college age daughter. I knew only bathing option was clawfoot tub shower when we booked, which was a bit of an issue as I have mild mobility limitations. We made it work, but a step stool may have been helpful. Hope to return soon for a longer stay!

We had such a lovely stay at the beautiful Steamboat Inn. It is within a short walking distance of the charming Jefferson main town area (shops and restaurants). You feel like you step into a different era when you walk through those gorgeous front doors. Each room has its own distinctive decor and charm. Lana is an excellent host and she loves to spend time visiting and getting to know her guests. She and her sweet niece served up a delicious breakfast every morning. There is always coffee, tea and water (and even wine) available. And the yummy chocolate chip cookies she bakes and sets out every afternoon is the perfect sweet snack! We plan on making this a romantic weekend getaway and will be back soon.

Our first stay will not be our last, perfect in every way. Our host, David, is very knowledgeable and gladly shares information on what to do in the area. The town itself is right around the corner from the B&B, so very convenient. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

My wife and I stayed here for joint birthday trip. Excellent location, service and setting. Lana and Alex were great hosts with just the right amount of availability and conversation. Breakfast was always great! The handyman, David, was very friendly and full of information about the area. We will definitely return! Thanks!

Love, love, LOVED this place! In a town full of BnB options, the Steamboat Inn was a stand-out. The rooms, details, appointments, staff - were all supreme. I cannot say enough about it.
