The Town Laundromat, Lockhart TX

Place stinks fowl smell. No machines or attendants for change worse public laundromat I've ever been to and I drive a truck over the road so I've seen alot of them this one by far the nastiest

No quarter machine 2 of 3 oversized machines broke ran down no number to call for multiple machines eating money close at 9pm last load in dryer@830 pm

And we need a number for who works as the maintenance for this laundromat.

It was the only one open in town after 8. It was 24 hours and noe it closed at 9 pm. Machines are often broken or it keeps your money. When I can go early I go to Luling. If not this is it.

So all of you that like to bash this place just remember its been owned by the same family since it opened in the 70’s, most of the machines are out of order because of the way customers have this entitled attitude of its not my problem if it breaks so Ill just try and cram all my clothes into this one washer that should be for only 15 lbs of clothes and you cram 45 lbs into it. Thats why they break. The owner is an amazing individual who in spite of inflation and the rising cost of everything these days, is starting to put in brand new machines, all but 2 of the big orange dryers have been repaired and the coin mechanism replaced with ones that are easier to turn on the ones that needed new ones, and the dryers keep breaking cause again the self entitlement of its not mine to worry about so ill just leave. Screws, nails or whatever in my paints pockets and then that gets in the holes of the dryer and jams the drum. (Check your pockets people) this place may be outdated and not have a soap dispensary or change machine but you wont find a cheaper place to do your laundry especially one that is 24 hours. So stop complaining about things and remember for it to continue to be a place for you to wash your clothes at a very cheap cost, you need to do your part to help maintain it, clean up after yourself, check your clothes for any thing that may damage the machines, and don’t overload the machines.

It's a nice place it's cheap and it's good there's people that complain and whine about it but if they don't want to complain and whine just buy your own washer machine and dryer

Owner is a Karen. The president himself even states that this pandemic is over but she still refuses to stop people from entering without a mask. Most of the cases were proven fraudulent in the first place. Half the machines don't work. The shopping carts that they use for laundry carts are almost all either broken or filthy.

One of the washers stopped i think it broken someone removed the out of order sticker took my quarters and paid double on my wash other than that finished all my laundry wish there was someone I can call no phone number or anyone there ‍️

Terrible place to do laundry broken washers and dryer’s the owner is never there oh and you must wear a mask because it’s runned by a liberal democrat and she believes that it will help you stop covid 19

Thanks Heaven for this Laundromat one of two left open in this city. It's really easy on tha wallet and gets tha job done for me.

Very affordable to wash and dry. But bathroom and the place it's self is not taken good care of looks like they try to keep it clean but everything is just too old.

I really like this laundromat, the machines have actual agitators which gets heavily soiled clothes much cleaner than those front loaders and it's open 24 hours.

Can the city of lockhart please close this down! This is the worst laundry matt ever! More than half of the machines from 1820's dont wash right! And steal your money

It gets a star just because it exists. Check the machines before you put money in. If any buttons are missing the machine probably doesn't work. There are a few folding tables. The laundromat is hard to find from the street.

Its a very sloppy place 1 they dont have a place to get change 2 half there dryers work and they dont have singhs to let you know i just wasted 3 dollors to dry my clothes theres no there to tell or number it smells bad it dirty there trash all over the play and basketes like really i dont get how there still in business they should be shut down
