Awful customer service from this store. Jermey has been of no use and speaks disrespectfully. They lost my package and say “we have no control over it”.

The male employee was being very rude to customers, especially to a woman with an overactive child. The female employee was courteous and patient as we resolved a shipping issue I was having.

He told me that he would only tape up my three packages that had labels and everything, if I gave him a review.

Bottom line - just go to FedEx if you need to print anything, and please DO NOT ever use the computer at UPS unless you absolutely have to, and know that it will cost you.

I came to print a label that I had ready to send to the email address for UPS to print, as I’ve done at my last UPS in South Austin. I was told I could do it myself using the computer. Nothing further. I thought, great! Very efficient. I had to scan my credit card to access and thought that was normal, for it to charge once I printed. I quickly pulled up my document (took about 3 minutes since it forced me to create an account, which was a cumbersome process but I’m pretty quick at typing) and found that I was going to be charge TWELVE DOLLARS for my 1 page shipping label. I couldn’t believe it and stood waiting for the UPS staff to help fix whatever it was. Once I was able to get their attention, the young lady who had told me to use the computer responded that it could be an appropriate charge based on how much time I’d spent on the computer. They charged me $7 for the few minutes PLUS $5 for a shipping label! Mind. Blowing. The worst thing was that the UPS staff seemed to be deliberately withholding that piece of information, about charging for time on the computer, and they were guiding people to use it without mentioning it would cost. I heard her tell another customer as well without mentioning it’s $3 a minute! Worst customer service I’ve ever had with any mailing service — I really hope management isn’t aware of this, and that they will address this issue that has caused several negative experiences from what I can see on these reviews, once they become aware. You absolutely need to inform your customers before guiding them to that. Or even put up a big sign! Literally, there’s just no excuse for that, and it feels a lot like trying to cheat people.

An aside, but it’s absolutely absurd in 2023 for a company like UPS to charge by the minute for a computer that requires account creation to accomplish something as simple as printing a shipping label. We have airdrop and easy uploads now. Maybe take a cue from fedex - would have taken 1 minute and cost me $0.20. Definitely will be taking my service back to them from now on.

Reply to owner: it only takes seeing how many frustrated customers have had the same experience and took the time to leave their feedback about it to see the common denominator. If the customer experience were a priority to this UPS store, there would be more upfront and transparent notice of these unreasonable charges. As it is, this seems like intentional negligence and deceit, designed to take advantage of customers.

Mailed jewelry from here to south austin and the package was “damaged” and jewelry stolen. Spoke w manager and associates and every conversation said “we have no responsibility for that” they told me to go on line and then when you go on line it tells you to go in store.

Talked w associate about how the claim works and he hung up on me twice with an attitude.

Beyond livid and disappointed that people treat their customers this way. No insight on the investigation process and no help from store.

Also I was informed after the $100 claim is paid out the investigation process ends. They paid the claim the same day I filed the claim so they never plan on doing an investigation to prevent this from happening in the future. 0 accountability on all parts. Very disappointing.

I had an amazing experience with this UPS store. The manager went above and beyond to help me get this package delivered! Devina carried me all the way through doing all the details! It’s very hard to find people that are so accommodating. It really spoke to me.

One UPS label printing costs $6.76 here!

At first, the guy told me it would only cost $0.45 to print something.

But then, they charged me a whopping $6.76 for just one UPS label! I

t's an outrageously high price for such a simple thing. And to make matters worse, the person at the service center said the extra cost was because of computer time, even though I didn't even use the computer myself. He printed it on one of their printers. This is not fair or honest at all. The service I received was really terrible, and it makes me furious to see this kind of dishonest business practice.

Trusted them to mail my birth cert through them and back to me via their company. Instead.they sent it through USPS and now it's been lost. I trusted y'all because I didn't want to go through the incompetent service. Now that makes 2 of you.

I was returning an item to a merchant and they wanted to charge me $5.95 to print the shipping label. On another occasion they wanted to charge me $3 to print 1 page black and white flyer because of a copying up charge. Disgusting upcharges.

Amazing customer service. Outstanding in the area, walk in anytime they are open and they will always have a notary on site. I was in and out in less than five minutes. Will definitely visit the location again

Devina was incredible. I almost never write reviews, but she deserves it. She was positive, attentive, helpful, efficient and quick. I had a lot of questions and items to take care of, and she made it very easy.

The ownership has been there for 20+ years and I overheard they support local kids looking for jobs and internships.

I will exclusively do all my shipping at this location because of Devina.

Mike - (older man, with black glasses) provided TERRIBLE service. He first made me purchase tape to package my shipment. Charged me $5 for “computer fee” I did not touch a computer.

Then proceed to rush me as I was taping my package and said he would just tape it for me with a tape gun he pulled from under the desk.
So I asked why did you MAKE ME PURCHASE the a roll of tape for no reason… if you are going to tape it. He threw my package back at me to finish taping. The “cheap” ($6) was so thin it got tangled so I asked to use his tape gun and he would not let me.

PRICE GAUGING AND UNPROFESSIONALISM is what he was doing.
Completely unprofessional and rude! Would not recommend to go there.
