The Wash Tub, San Antonio TX

TERRIBLE experience. I drive an open air Jeep, 2 door no less! All I wanted was an interior detail and leather conditioning. Besides being overcharged versus what they advertise, my vehicle was totally not clean when I was asked to approve the work. After about 15 minutes, I got tired of lording over Roger and finally said "that's good enough", just to take it home and finish it myself. The mats weren't cleaned as advertised and it took me an hour to finish the halfway job. What a total waste of time and money! Next time I'll just pay my son to clean it. At least he cares!

Complete car wax with clay bar resurfacing on my van was done FAST! Surface feels smooth and rain beads off like it never had before. Friendly staff, nice waiting area, and fast WiFi that I was able to use for a video conferencing.

I got the basic wash. The gleam I think it's called. The windows were supposed to be done but when I got my Jeep back the windows were all "spotty". I paid $39 for the monthly unlimited which I think is a great value for the money. Willing to give them another shot because let's face it, my Jeep gets dirty frequently.

Went a couple times and every time my car comes out still dirty. Asked them to rerun the car and again still dirty. Inside was still dirty after being vacuumed. Door jams not even wiped down. For the amount of money they charge car still doesn’t look clean. Canceled my membership

Ive been a member at the wash tub for years and I just want to say the Cashiers Valerie and Vicky and Breasia, and managers Ricky and Austin at SE military are extraordinary. I always get great customer service there. I Definitely recommend them to all of my friends

Unimpressed. They left trash in the doors. There were plenty of areas that didn’t seem quite vacuumed. Maybe because they were within an hour and a half of closing, or maybe because I purchased the monthly membership, but it seems as though they sped through the interior wash. We told that they forgot the trash in the doors and the man grabbed some and left the rest. I’m very close to canceling my membership - which is not the low/basic wash membership.

Lazy employees who take their time, only equiped with bottle sprayers and rags. They missed a lot of spots in the interior of my truck. Never going back.

Was not happy with this visit and if it wasn’t for Andrew, the young man who noticed my displeasure this review would be worse. The two young men who did a horrible job drying my truck gave such a bad pass through that Andrew was the main reason this reviews saving grace. He was very attentive and made sure to dry and detail my vehicle properly. I made sure to tip him and him only. I hope this was a one time thing and the service had made off day but to pay for a year membership and get this type of service is not good for business.

The washtub is a quick place to get your car washed without the hassle of doing it yourself. The people are so nice and accommodating.

Great service. Quicker than me doing it myself and worth the monthly packages a year or two at a time. VERY HANDY FOR AN UBER OR LYFT DRIVER I WOULD THINK. KEEP IT CLEAN TO THE TIP TOO FOR CUSTOMERS.

I had my truck detailed inside and out today. They were extremely busy, and my truck required a lot of work as it was way overdue. Without us asking, they requested to keep it longer so they could redo the wax. There were places that needed gone over multiple times in the detail both in and out. Our attendant Roger was so polite and patient with us with every request. There was another guy shaking his head at us, but Roger never faltered. I hope his manager sees this and he gets some recognition because people like him that care about customer service are hard to come by. The attendant working inside handling payments and transactions as well as the gentleman that checked us in before the vacuums were also nice and helpful. Kudos to those that made it a pleasant experience even though they were slammed today and they were working hard in this Texas heat. Appreciate you guys!

Usually frequent the Broadway location in Alamo Heights, but this one is closer to us. No points docked for lack of frilly things inside, but overall communication was lacking, & it was obvious that there were issues with workers/management & their organizational system by how inside staff talked about someone leaving work prematurely (not derogatory or anything, could just see discontent & dysfunction). Also being told I had to verify that my car was mine before leaving? , but then a manager got me squared away. Not bad cleaning service, but I won't frequent this location for the sake of clarity in their system & speed of service. Props to this location serving such a wide clientele!

They no longer have anyone who speaks Spanish working there anymore, I asked and one of the employees and they mentioned management got rid of their own Spanish speaker. My dad who only speaks Spanish will no longer come here, Will definitely take my business elsewhere.

After years going to this wash tub and they can't admit that they scratch my rim i even should them my cameras before i took off from my house to go to the wash and nothing was on my rim.this is my second issue with them and they never want to admit that it's was ther fault so watch out and beware of this place if you have rims on your vehicle they ain't gna wanna pay for any damage

The guy doing the cleaning of the windows didnt even get the code off the back window and didnt wipe off my console.
Someone took my Drive Safe device from my console cubbie about the middle of Feb.i didn' t notie i was missing til today (April 7) when I got a notification from the app that it couldnt record my trip. Last trip the app recorded was on Feb 10. Only people who access my car are myself, my hubby and a couple of friends and unattended by me or my husband is the employees of Washtub.
