The Whimsy Artisan Boutique reviews
16This is a super cool shop with an eclectic collection of items for sale. Everything is made by artisans, and I was told they have about 150 artists contributing to the store. If you enjoy unique creations (and sometimes bordering oddities) this is a place to visit!
I love shopping here! Everything is so unique and there's always a treasure to find. The owner is amazing! She's always so helpful!
Very cute local spot for art and trinkets and more. The clerk that was working at the time (might also be the owner) was very personable and welcoming. We didn’t end up buying anything but liked a lot of the items. They even have cool local drawings and sketches, etc of anime that I liked.
Fun, unusual, and unique! I think it’s great that there is a store where you can see/buy local artists. The owner is fun and a pleasure to deal with!
Owner is fantastic. Great service and a super cute atmosphere. Quirky and unique art. Everything from sculpture to stickers. My kind of place.
Our gallery wall grew a little more. We love our fun new pieces, thank you Whimsy Artisan Boutique!
A nice place off the beaten path! Sells the same kind of attire as Jubilee but more reasonably priced. The owner is especially friendly and helpful.
Really cool shop supporting lots of local artists. Great unique gift shopping. Took a star off because it is difficult to find /access.
Whimsical little place with some odds and ends. They have a nice selection of local made teas and other knick knacks for the house. If you are in Old Town, take some time to wander in.
This place is so sick! I'm so glad i stopped by.private parking lot which is great.the entrance is a bit weird as it is connected to couple of other stores but not hard to find.i came here to get some inspiration and find new local artists to support. Jess, the store owner, was so personable and kind.she knew who the artists were and the backstory of their pieces.i thought many artworks were super unique and cool.my favorites were pieces by Tom Rye, Love Chai Chi, and couple of others.and the wood puzzle board made by a retired pilot.overall so many talented people!
overall i really like this small shop and would recommend you to check it out!
The best place to buy local art. So many artists on consignment. Fantastic gift ideas. So much stuff packed into a small space. Thanks!
Awesome shop, cool folks and energy all around, I go for the natural soaps they sell, totally worth yur while
This place is just amazing!
I got to support local artists which is something that I've never done and it was a beautiful experience! Everything is amazing quality and the guy who was cashiering (I forgot his name but he was a super cool looking dude) was so nice and kept us informed as to who was behind each art piece. 11/10 this place is great
One of the coolest art boutiques in Texas! If you are looking for something to spice up your living area, or a gift for someone that’s hard to buy for, The whimsy artisan boutique has it all. I personally have bought the owners handmade crocheted plushies for my kids, and they love the unique designs from a rainbow barfing unicorn, to a zombie gingerbread man! I’ve also purchased a few art pieces to hang I’m my kitchen and garage. This place has it all. And you can guarantee you will be met at the door with a smile and a warm welcoming that will make you want to keep coming back to support your local artists and small business. Right now it’s needed more then ever.
Let me tell you folks this place is a diamond in the rough. Just when the world was freakin out over covid 19 I couldn’t find face masks anywhere in Houston. A friend of mine told me she had bought some from this boutique. And sure enough I ordered 300 washable masks for the company I work for. And thanks to to their awesome staff for personally delivering them to me FREE OF CHARGE! Thanks again Whimsy Artisan! Ohh go and check out their store it’s awesome! They have all kinds of cool art, candles and great smelling handmade soaps.
