Enjoy our weekend here very much. Clean rooms, clean banquet hall. Beautiful grounds to enjoy. Christmas decor was festive!

It's a very nice resort! Staff is wonderful and attentive. We had a slight problem with the heat and tech was there in a few minutes after my call to the Front desk. Will definitely be planning a trip back! We were there for a wedding and never had the opportunity to enjoy the amenities.

Check-in process was good and quite quick. When we got to the room, there was a distinct smell of urine and cigarette smoke. Additionally, there was a bug crawling around in the bathroom. I tried calling the front desk and never was able to speak to anyone. Made the decision to walk back to the front desk. The nice woman at the desk was very apologetic and gave us another room, which was nice. Thin walls though as I was able to hear conversations and all other things overnight.

The pool was very nice and appeared to be heated as well, which was nice! Overall, the experience was ok.

This resort was average at best and way overpriced. We had to pay a resort fee and it was maybe 55 degrees out so clearly the pool wasn't even an option, and then still had to pay $15 per person to rent bikes. Speaking of the bike rentals, the trails were very poorly marked and to get there you had to ride by an abandoned building that was very creepy. We figured that with the cold weather there might be some indoor events planned, but when we asked about that they said to check the event calendar and NOPE, nothing except for smores in the evening. Maybe if someone actually reads this review perhaps they can refund our bike fee considering there was nothing else to do. Not to mention, the floors in our room were stained and dingy. Not a place I would ever return to.

Rooms are a dump. They smell, there are stains, scratch marks and broken hardware, elevator was smashed up, no automatic doors anywhere, and who doesn't install an exhaust fan in their bathrooms?

Let me start off by saying I love this hotel, one of my favorites! However over the the last year I’m unsure if management changed but I have had issues here I haven’t had before. Rooms not being ready in time for guest… Staff not being helpful.just all around poor communication. I just hope the hotel management take the last few comments in to consideration and really step their game up. Especially for this upcoming holiday season. Woodland really is a special place I just hope it stays that way.

This is not a four-star hotel. The pictures look pretty, but the rooms are shoddy, dirty, outdated, and when I got my first room it smelled so bad I asked for a second room and the second room smelled bad also. The valet who helped me transfer even commented that it smelled weird. The cabinetry is cheap, doorways are shipped, and the first room had stains couch. For $99 a night sure, but all in all, a very disappointing experience

Am here for a wedding ceremony and reception. Quite a nice and quiet place for such an event

The Hotel is not bad but for the price you can get a better service for less than a half. The service is horrible at front desk, they don't welcome you, just ask for your card to charge you for anything, they charged us at checkout some fees that we don't know the reason, they don't send us an email telling us what those fees mean because we paid the stay and Hotel fees at check-in, everything was perfect at our room and nothing missing, maybe they charge us for housekeeping I don't know, the restaurants they have are expensive and the food is not the best. I would go to the water park with my kids but definitely not to stay in the hotel, we were expecting more but it just disappointed us.

Nice resort. The bar at the pool is very busy. Not enough staff. The drinks were very expensive and not worth at all the price. We paid $17 for a pina colada and had not flavor at all. Drinks were watered down.

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would- You literally get charged double for your room. That would be fine if the resort was nice- On the outside it’s beautiful but the inside looks like a basic La Quinta. If I’m paying triple the price of other hotels, I would expect the resort to be a little nicer inside. Our stay was awful and I didn’t enjoy my time at all, I’ll never recommend this place or stay ever again. I’ve stayed at other resorts and have never been disappointed until now.

All around great facility. The grounds the pool and accommodations make a memorable and affordable weekend getaway with shopping only 5 minutes away.

This is just a review on my interaction with one of their employees through email, I never had the opportunity to visit or tour the facility. I inquired about having my wedding at the Woodlands Resort and spoke briefly to Kristeen Castro who completely stopped responding to me. Disappointing to say the least. Not only did they miss out on a wedding ceremony and reception but also over the booking of over 100 guests’ stays.

This is a great property, clean, staff super nice, and the grounds are beautiful. However, the most ridiculous thing we experienced was that the complimentary coffee station was 3 buildings over. Literally took me 8 min.to walk over (one way) to the conference center building. Roughly a 30 min.round trip walking to get a cup of coffee. Why in the world would you not have a coffee station in the main lobby for guests? By the time you walk back with your coffee, you’re having to juggle the drinks, watch for cars, and by the time you get it back to the guests that can’t physically walk that far for a simple cup of coffee, it’s cold by the time you get it back to them. I don’t see how you can’t have this same station in the lobby near all of the other snacks and things, for the guests staying in the buildings closer to that end. Please consider, this is unacceptable!
