Thicket Apartments, Houston TX

Great place to live. Just moved here and been two months and I am very happy! The manager heysol has helped me in everything I need. I give them a 10/10 Rating!

I've been living here for 8 months now pay my rent on time every month and my air conditioning unit has been broken for 2 months, the water after you take a shower drains very slowly in the tub, my soul has been broken since I moved in, I put in request after request and still nothing has happened! I've bought a window AC and was asked if it would be deducted from my rent I was told no not at all, I so wish there was something I could do?

The Thicket Apartments should be Torn Down. More than Half of the Apartment buildings are Beat Up, Busted Windows, boarded Up and Abandoned. How Could any Owner of this Property have the Nerves to even rent these death traps to ANYBODY. I know people are desperate, but they can't be that desperate to live in something so careless as that

The managers are Very Grimey and rude, mrs Maria the main manager doesn’t do her job well. The maintenance crew never fixes anything I’ve been having a foul smell coming from underneath my shower for two months. And they just told me to spray air freshener. This is the worst apartments and apartment managers I’ve ever felt with. They will take your money quick please don’t choose these apartments.

Worse apartments I have ever stayed in! They are infested with rats and roaches and the only thing they do is patch over things! I been having wood rat problems since I been leasing here and the only thing ms may is worried about is the rent money!

I stay here going on a1yr I dnt even what to give a star the manager DNT care they just want ur money and they dnt fix anything this been bad idea.

Hello everyone I've been reading all the reviews and I understand how people feel.but im gonna give the Apt a try because its my frist Apt as a sengls man I always had a apartment with women so check back with me b4 the month is out to let you know how everything is going with the apartment.one thing u can say about me im gonna keep it about everything so with that I'll say iholla n.o

I have to be a 100% honest this is the worst place I've ever lived in I would not put my enemy my worst enemy here there were rats that ate my clothes my furniture bit wildlife and pooped in my baby's crib the roaches were so badd that they infested all of my furniture when through the food and even ended up in a frigerator and the freezer the maintenance team did what they could but the management team would not allow them to fix anything it is just a quick patch and repair job I respect the maintenance team for what they tried to do but the complex and the management team is krapp this has to be the worst place ever I have seen 3rd world countries better than this complex do not do not do not move here live here do not send your worst enemy here nobody deserves to live in this horrible horrible complex the state needs to get involved on how horrible this complexes

RATS. RATS. RATS.
RAT infested Apartments no one in the office cares nor do they keep the same and leasing agents. I live there for a year and would never do it again don't waste your time or money unless you like big nasty RAT and I have the pictures to prove this. Not to mention the office was aware that they were infested with rats and didn't even send an exterminator out I guess they feel because this area is not as friendly that everyone is used to living that way I'm definitely not one of those people obviously.

My daughter filled out an application for an apartment here and paid a $50.00 app fee, that was promised to be refundable! She called back for 4 days asking about her application status the lady Finally told her after 4 days her application was approved and she would move in on Friday 22, gave her a 3rd floor apartment number, but said her manager wasn’t there and she couldn’t give a deposit amount. This went on for another 2 1/2 weeks! No deposit amount.finally we went over to the office and the manager was there, saying she had been in the hospital for 3 weeks and she was try to see what was going on in the office. My heart went out to her? She looked for my daughter file and couldn’t find it.she said she would call us when she found out what was what. Tomorrow’s the 22nd and we didn’t get a call back at all! From no one! And her $50.00 refundable payment can’t be located! And we where told the lady who we gave the $50.00 deposit to QUIT! Now my daughter has no apartment.

The manager Mrs May is awesome.also they have a food program for the kids called Helping Hands they feed the kids every day for free after school from 3: 30-5: 15 in apt 205. Please bring your kid's 0-18 years of age.we want to make sure all our kids eat they are our future!

This apartments are horrible I live ther for a year and my appartment was infested with bedbugs cacroches told the manager they didn't do anything when my lease was up I ask to be transfer to another apartment and they just told me my rent was going to go up 300 dollars more i was paying 720 and it was going to be 1025 this apartment need to be shut down

I am currently moving out of these apartments. The service is HORRIBLE! I went in and told the office I would be moving out by the end of the week and they felt the need to go inside my apartment and remove the refrigerator and take the stove apart. They went through my things that was packed and helped themselves to what they wanted. I will NEVER refer anyone to this complex. I suggest going to a shelter before you even consider living here. This property does not deserve 1 star but I couldn't leave this post without at least a star. TURN AROUND! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

DONT MOVE HERE. There's a lot of abandoned apartments that office not doing anything to fix. People use them to do drugs and sex. And it takes a long time for them to fix what is wrong in your apartment. They don't care nothing but the rent$.

This place doesn't even deserve a Star! It literally takes 6+ months to get ANYTHING FIXED! The owners and management are changed every 2 months. Our AC has been out for a week and other neighbors 2weeks-3month. Not to mention all the prostitutes that hang out at the kids bus stop. And the only time the police get involved is when another dead hooker is found dead in the complex which is about once a week. PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER EVER LIVING HERE!

They won't fix nothing they moved some people in a apartment while others were moving out. Only fix things when ask to reduce rent

Everyone has their own say.mine is great.no problem getting in and surely won't be a problem getting settled in.where you live you make it how you live and for me it's so great.and thanks again Bella! Ten stars! For your hard work and effort!

Neighborhood isn't all that and the apartment building is very old. I've lived in better places. Lillie, one of the office management team members is very nice and helpful. Her talent is wasted here at the thicket. I like the space and rent is so manageable. All in all if you can over look the bad things. This is an ideal place for second chance renters.

Just moved in yesterday and I regret it sooo much. First off i paid my rent on the 31st the didn't move me in till the 11th of june. They said oh we have to clean it and fix the ac when i went inside the ac isnt working (i had to put my bed under the dining room ceiling fan just to get air) and roavhes EVERYWHERE crawling on me and my stuff no one yet has came to fix my ac so if I pass out im suing the hell out of them

Very good place.worderful management they doing excellent work.very safe area clean apartment.smell very nice.
