Thomas Printworks reviews
10They were very quick and helpful when selecting paper for invitations and RSVP cards - a task I actually really stressed about. They responded to phone calls and emails with clear concise answers and did not try to push any particular product on us. They simply showed us all the options available to us and provided quotes for us to compare. We got printed samples to review prior to placing a full order, and, once placed, printing was fast and packaged very well. We saved quite a bit of money, and had very professional invitations to send to our guests.
Came into this location, which I had been coming for almost 2 years because I usually get great service by one specific employee. I came in and I waited for 5-10 minutes without being acknowledged, the to proceed to being told they can help me. They did offer to charge me an arm and a leg for a service that I usually get help with in self service for a fraction of the cost. Does quoting you for cutting paper sound reasonable at a starting cost of 15.60?
A gentleman was sitting there and he said honestly their not going to help you here unless you do it yourself. I really suggest you go to FedEx. The employee just sat there shrugging shoulders.
I have been using this print shop for 8 years. Never have I been so disappointed with their customer service as I am today. Stopped by the shop on Tuesday to place an order for printed brochures and post cards. I was hoping to receive the order by Wednesday so I could ship to San Diego for a conference. I received word on Wednesday that I would have them in hand by Thursday. Friday morning, I receive an email from Greg saying the printer is down and will have to use a different facility for printing. I called and spoke with Monica, who informed me there was nothing they could do to get me my order in time for a 6am flight Monday morning. Now, I'm left to go find another print shop at the very last minute to fulfill my order. I'm very upset about the lack of empathy from the employees and consideration for inconvenience this has caused. Needless to say, I'm not sure I'll be back again in the future.
UPDATE: Changed my 2 star rating to a 1 star because I had to pay $500 rush order fee with another print shop to get my printing done in time.
I had a great experience on my first time here. The gentleman in the front took the time to show me the different types of paper from their example book. I picked out a few of them, and he explained the differences. I was able to make a great selection, which made my project look awesome.
The customer service Thomas Printworks provides is absolutely pathetic, I have attempted somewhere between 8 to 10 times over the past 3 months to get 2 items printed I have called multiple times and emailed multiple times only to be completely ignored.
I will give up and move on to another printer.
I got my bindings done very quickly however their customer service is terrible. I came in for the first time and there were about 3-4 people including me. I received no acknowledgement from any of the employees and just sat there lost until I went and asked for help. I went there to bind my book and the lady there did not know what she was doing and did not inform me of her incompetence. She misplaced the pages of my book.when she allowed me to bind my book myself and I finished. I was lost once again. I had a feeling that I should leave because no one was willing to help me pay for my bindings, but then that would be considered stealing.
TLDR; Horrible customer service. They are extremely slow. You teach yourself what to do.
It’s a pricy printing business! But I always come here! One thing I dislike about this place is how slow the employees work. I had to stand and wait for someone to help me and charge for more than 20 minutes! When they’re not doing anything! This stuff really irritates me
Great equipment and prices for the services provided.
Definitely a go to for all your printing and the like needs.
These guys are awesome in whatever they are doing. Great customer service, great customized print service for anything you will ever need!
