Thrift Town reviews
11Great place to thrift. Thank you to the male staff member at the check out who told me to come back later in the day because they were bringing out winter clothing. Pricing is great.
I vote this the best thrift store for clothes in San Antonio! I have never failed to find something cute there, whether it be a skirt, pants, or a top! Their shoes collection is immaculate and they always impress! I’ve been there multiple times and half of my closet is from there! Definitely recommend
GRIFT town
Seriously, what are they smoking? I guess they forgot this is a THRIFT store selling USED items.
Jeans were marked $18.99 (you can get NEW ones at Wal-Mart for that price).
Shoes marked $24.99 – USED
Dress shirts $15.99 – USED
Athletic shorts $12.99 – USED
The same goes for other items in the store.
Are you getting the idea that something is seriously wrong here? These are USED/donated items. I bet you will see the same clothes if you visit again a week later LOL
Adios Thrift Town. It was fun while it lasted.
The clothing prices were okay but I didn't see anything I wanted to grab. The housewares prices are wildly priced. I saw a bag of brass items for $3 and then several tiny brass items all melted separately for $12+ each. Items only worth a few bucks were being sold for $10+. Randomly something worth money was marked for $3. I was shocked at the yo-yo-ing prices. There zero consistency in the prices. I wanted to buy several items, but they were marked so high, so I wound up leaving without buying anything. I don't plan on returning to a thrift store that is so strangely priced. The organization was okay.
I come here every so often but their prices are getting out of hand… a Walmart spaghetti strap you could get NEW for practically the same price. I will say the employees are always nice and the store is well organized though.
Thrift Town looks like a giant warehouse inside. That warehouse is full of second hand clothing, shoes, toys, kitchenware, and even some electronics. The clothing selection in particular is enormous. Prices rarely go above $10 for common items besides coats and jackets. Changing rooms are available for you to try things on.
Good prices and awesome employees! Specifically Maggie. She helped me at the counter and was very patient with letting me look at things behind the counter. Thank you!
They have everything and their staff is wonderful! There are always treasures around every corner!
I love Thrifttown. It's a treasure chest of bargains, and the weekly color change discounts keep me coming often. Mondays Seniors and military receive a special discount, too. Excitement and fun every visit.
Lots of good stuff to find, don't think prices are bad considering, however, they do seem to increase every time I visit. Don't expect a discount if the clothes are damaged, they price it normally, I received a dollar off for a missing button on a leather jacket that was already $40. I've also had components of accessories from my bag once I'm home, that's my fault for not checking but renders items useless if they get lost or separated during the checkout process.
It is nicely organized and clean. I do recommend checking it out, it's still a great place.
I ball out in this place. Like Im droppin 50 bucks and walkin out with an outfit, a fishing pole and a new toy for the babies type of ballin.
