Affordable Pet Visit and we got our dog some dental works too. Way less expensive that we thought we were going to have to pay. Great place.

It was a pleasure to work with the staff at Thrive Vet Clear Lake! Everyone was so friendly and I felt so comfortable leaving my dog there with the staff! I will definitely recommend this location to others in the future!

Friendly staff. Unfortunately they were not able to provide the services that we required, but they did provide information on a couple of alternative vets that could help.

Although we had to visit Thrive for a very sad reason, the experience of dealing with that with people who are caring and understanding made it bearable. The Dr explained everything nicely and precisely, without talking down to us. When we made the decision to bring our beloved cat back to have him peacefully put down, they helped calm our hearts that we were making the right decision for him.
Thank you to everyone working at Thrive for making the decision about our Fatty as easy as possible in this situation.

I just picked up a cute beautiful stray kitty and named her midnight. I thought I was allergic to cats. I must have grown out of it. The minute I picked her up she started purring and I fell in love. Around my apartment there are lots of cats and I didn’t want more without a forever home. I took her in and had Dr Finley and her team check her over. Pretty healthy for a stray and almost 6 months old. A few weeks later I brought her in to be spayed. I was so excited that I was giving her a forever home. Danielle the technician personally took her from me and took care of her the whole time. I think Danielle fell in love with her too! The kindness care and love they showed midnight and keeping me informed throughout the procedure was awesome. I’m now a “ cat lady”, midnight has a forever home and Dr Finley is my new veterinarian. Thank you Danielle for loving on midnight and giving me peace of mind. I wanted to hug Danielle but had to keep the “ social distancing “ in play. The clinic followed all the precautions and I felt very comfortable dropping midnight off and in their hands.

I had an appointment today and the staff did not call me back at the phone number that I had called from. Levi, the receptionist made no attempt to find me when I was parked right outside the clinic. He was rude and disorganized. 45 min after my appointment I was told my dog could not be seen and that the doctors had left, but it was not true. The veterinarian walked into the lobby a few minutes later and eventhough it was before closing time, he did not want to see my dog. He did the same thing to another client the last time I was there a few weeks ago. They used to have great staff, but the new staff is not very professional. I do not recommend this clinic.

Extremely professional and friendly environment! This was our first time visiting Thrive with our new puppy and we couldn't be happier! The scheduled appointment drastically cuts down on the wait time that we experienced with our previous vet and any questions I had were answered thoroughly and explained in great detail. Highly recommend!

Love this place! Jason is always nice and helpful. Dr. Finley solved Sparky's allergy problem in one visit, after years of fails at our prior vet. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, and it's nice that it is lower price than other vets. After a couple years already, I'm staying with Thrive on Bay Area Blvd.

Do not waste your time and hard earned money as this place lacks care and compassion for your pets. My Bulldogge needed eye drops 2-3/day in both eyes for one week. My dog is extremely strong and disobedient making it very hard to put one drop of medication in her eyes. I missed her eye more than I got medicine in her eye. The $40 3ml bottle only lasted 3 days. I called for a refill which was denied by the vet stating I must schedule another appointment paying another $130 when she absolutely needed her eye drops. The call center said clinic was excepting walk ins so I took my dog back just to be denied service, an appointment and a refill. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and unnecessary. I will never return and advise everyone I know to beware.

The man with the accent in the front (I forgot his name) was SO attentive and nice and I could really tell he cared about pets and his job. My dog has a urinary problem and had a little accident on the floor and him and the vet asst came out to try to get a urine sample. I got seated quickly and had all my questions answered by the vet. PLEASE opt for the $9/mo membership. Especially for older dogs that keep having issues. I've saved ~$31 on the exam alone. Thank you thrive!

I absolutely do not recommend the clinic on Bay Area. There are so many concerns I have. Let me say to start that the guy at the front desk and the vet tech were AMAZING! As for the Doctor.yeh not so much. I would put her name here but I think it's not ok to do so.

1. Yes we came in late, our appointment was scheduled late the doctor was in a hurry. She did not address any of the questions we had without us pulling an answer from her.

2. My stray cat that I adopted is so sweet and declawed. She gave him a shot but did not attempt to give him the medicine for worms nor did she let us know if he was spayed. All she said is he won't let me feel his boy parts.

Let me stop my list and add my cat aka CatDaddy acts like a dog. He let me give him a bath in the tub and he will walk on a leash. So I'm concerned as to why she acted like dealing with him was such an issue.

3. I've sent 2 emails to THRIVE and made a phone call in regards to my dissatisfaction. NO RESPONSE! I guess I get the hint. My cat and I and the measly 100 we spent means nothing to them! I will definitely never ever return! I should have stuck with Banfield. I used them in the past with my dogs and they always made me feel like they cared. My pets are like my kids and I like them to be treated that way when being cared for.

Good affordable veterinary services, I joined the $9 a month plan and I get to bring my pet anytime I want and dont have to pay the $25 visit fee! Really like the veterinarians and vet techs they are very nice!

The prices here are reasonable and appointments are usually available for the same day. I like that the pet store is connected so I can take my dogs and kids for a quick stroll through it after appointments. We love to look at the animals!

Cheapest and fastest vet appointment ever! Got a membership with them and will be back with my other two animals for exams and shots! Everyone was very friendly and very informative. Great experience. Didn’t have to wait a week for an appmt and made one for the next day. Would be nice if they were open more later hours.

Karla was super awesome and so helpful in getting my concerns taken care of. She went above and beyond what was needed. I am definitely coming back her simply because the service I received was exceptional.

I booked the appointment online and set up the time for 11: 15am. I showed up at 11: 10 and was told I had 5 minutes left for the appointment. She said I can rebook it for 8: 45 on Monday. Since this was my first impression it was also my last. Never ever will I return to a business or individual that is this unprofessional. I have all the screenshots because if it had been my fault. I would have taken ownership. So I would say a word to anyone looking for a vet. You get what you pay for obviously. This was at the Clear Lake store on Bay Area.

Great caring staff. Very affordable pet care. I have taken Gator and Mochi in for shots.dental care and general checkups. Prices are the best in my area.

Our mixed breed dog had a skin rash. Called was seen that day. The staff was friendly and acted concerned. Low cost for same day appointment. We returned with both of our dogs 10 days later. Was greeted by name asked about our dogs rash and general health. Shot updated physical exam and out the door. We still had money in the bank! At our old vet 2 of everything would have cost about 450 to 500 dollars. Less than 250 dollars. Will be returning.
