Great customer service, reasonable prices, but if you're vegetarian, options aren't delicious imo. I'm happier with a subway sub, but these are healthier, so I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to eat here if my meat-eating buddies invite me to eat here. Overall, mixed review, but would not go out of my way to eat here unless I was trying to clean up my diet.

This store single-handedly keeps my business! It seems like other stores build sandwiches too fast and can mess up orders, but they don't care to make it right or give you a better experience. HOWEVER - this store messed up a sandwich 1 time, and management was eager to make it right. I spoke with the manager, and he told me that he valued my feedback and wanted to offer me a sub to make it right. THIS is customer service, and other stores (like 290) should take note of how well this Manager handled the situation. I went back and got that free sub today and it was DELICIOUS! Thank you store #5 for the amazing sandwich! Great attitudes all around!

Ricky and Zoe at Thundercloud #5 usually take our order and they're fun and friendly every time! They deserve a genie wish and a heaping hot fudge sundae! Always a great experience and always delicious!

I used to go to ThunderCloud Subs decades ago for really good food. I'm delighted that they are just as good now as then!

Ordered a BLT online and gave them tip in advance only to get home and find only 2 pieces of bacon and an excessive amount of shredded lettuce. Second time (different location) this has happened. Not going back to T-Cloud anywhere. Would give fewer stars if possible.

An Austin Institution. Egg sub Salad is a favourite. They also have seasonal menu changes which keeps it fresh.

ThunderCloud is one of my favorite sandwich shops and I had an excellent experience at this location. The person who made my sandwich was careful and follwed my instructions that I gave because of a food allergy. Really great, friendly service and it's a nice, clean store.

I've been eating at one T-Cloud or another since I was in high school (and that was a long time ago - mid eighties). No-frills casual lunch (or dinner) stop for high-quality and fresh ingredients. They will make your sandwich to order and do so quickly. It's just an Austin institution and has been successful by sticking to the same model year after year - great sandwiches at a great price. Plus, there is always good music on while you wait or while you eat. It ain't the Four Seasons, so don't go in there with your fancy-pants attitude and you'll be fine. I'll feely admit to being a little bit of a homer for Austin businesses but these sandwiches are just better than the national chain competition - by a lot. Austin's original and one-of-a-kind!

I don’t know who helped me, but there was a gentlemen working behind the counter wearing glasses and a hat who was very nice! First time being here, but shout out to him for being so energetic and helpful. Good food as well!

Thundercloud has always had slow service and that’s OK. BUT this store treated me rudely and with disrespect. Should I stop going to Tcloud after 40 years or find a better location?

I always get the same sandwich: large whole wheat, chicken salad with Avacado, extra red onions, thundersauce, no cheese, lots of pepper, lettuce and tomato. It's the bomb!
