Very nice surroundings with Japanese garden. However when chanting in English, it sounds like cult, not enlightening at all. Please forgive me

A peaceful relaxing place to meditate and or chant. The Abbott is very nice and attentive to the needs of others. The community that belongs to this temple is also very nice and welcoming.

This temple is very peaceful and beautiful place to come and meditate/ pray. Everyone here is incredibly nice and respectful. This place is enormous with fountains everywhere, statues, and fish ponds. Also every Sunday, they serve complimentary vegan dishes. I enjoy taking my family here.

Very beautiful landscape with neat and clean Vietnamese temple with a hint of Japanese Buddhist culture. Japanese style garden looks so great. This place would be great as a tourist attraction too. The monk there can teach Buddhism very well in Vietnamese and English. He is highly educated about Buddhism and authors of many Buddhist books. Excellent place for people to learn and practice Buddhism. ^^

Such a wonderful place! Very peaceful and refreshing. You don’t have to be Buddhist to come here.
Feel free to soak in the environment and ask the monks if you have any questions about Buddhism.

*Largest granite Buddha statue in Texas
*3 metric ton bronze bell (largest in the USA)
*Zen Garden
*Gift Shop

Enjoy.

Absolutely recommend visiting this place! Had provided vegan lunch and a very peaceful and quiet garden, a GIANT Buddha statue, and it's extremely relaxing here, definitely come check this place out!

This beautiful Monastery oozes serenity the second you get out of your car. Peaceful waterfalls, light wood burning smell and tranquil walkways on a path where mindful quotes surround you. I go here to find peace and it always works.

Good, beautiful, nice place and good people. I feel like I’m just getting peace and sitting and doing meditation in lubini in (Nepal-where buddha was born)

Free food at 11 on Sundays, and they'll make you some tea if you have a conversation with them. Grounds are clean and serene, consistently. People are not proud or snobby, and you can ring the big bell while saying a prayer for all living things.
