My time at Tint Star School, I have learned several tips and tricks when it comes to tinting. I got to work hands on with the owner, Rob, and several of his installers. It was a very laid back yet hard working environment, this in turn, helped me gain more knowledge on the procedures and the process of tinting. During my time, we went over; Texas tint laws, hand cutting, how to use a plotter, preparation of windows, two stage installation, California roll installation, Frankenstein installation, window shrinking, removals, snap shrinking, windshield installations, and how to do a sun strip. Rob and his team were very patient and willing to help when necessary. I also had the opportunity to see his team tackle different vehicles. This gave me a good look at how fast and efficient professional installers get a job done. After the class, I am way more confident and knowledgable with my skills, to be a successful tinter.
