Tipicos Ay Caramba Restaurant reviews
14Excellent service they made me feel at home, the taste of the food is impressive we will definitely return
I placed an order for pick up for a small party and the pupusas were excellent. We got cheese, revueltas, cheese & beans and chicken. Everyone asked where we had gotten the pupusas at, will definitely come back and recommend this place!
It is one of the restaurants that makes you feel at home, everything is delicious, the beef broth is delicious. I recommend the Salvadoran potatoes for our children, everything is delicious and the attention is excellent, better said, I am Colombian and we love this restaurant, so come approve this delicious
The food and service here is great! The place has a family friendly vibe. One of the best casual places for Salvadoran food in the area. The food tastes healthier here since they bring a lot of ingredients from El Salvador.
Hidden Gem, I personally love these little hole in the wall Restaurants that are usually small and intimate but with amazing foods. If you do to this is the place for you! I've been looking for green leaf, platano leaf whatever tamales for so long who knew they were in my backyard! Let me start with the least to top favorites of what I ordered.
Casamiento (Rice and beans) 4 out of 5
Was a little mushy maybe that's how it is flavor was there and didn't let down.
Bean and Cheese Pupusas 5 out of 5
One of the most delicious I've tried in Houston PERIOD! The curtido (cabbage salad) was good the red sauce was meh not great but not bad enough to spoil it.
Now the real star of the show.
The platano leaf chicken tamales!

Most, oily, filled with potatoes and chicken. Simple yet delicious!
Will be back!
Incredible as it is familiar, and an unmatched flavor in Salvadoran food. The pata soup is incredible, the scrambled pupusa reminded me a lot of the pupusas you eat in Izalco. Thank you very much for your attention.
There is not much atmosphere, the other day I arrived before closing time and they told me that it is only for takeout, there is no music inside, very dull atmosphere
Pupusas are delicious! Espinaca con queso was my favorite! Super friendly staff and felt like you were at your Tia’s house! Definitely coming back!
Delicious Salvadoran food, the mur tamales are delicious, all the dishes are delicious, I recommend it and the service is excellent.

ATTENTION CARE
Be careful with the chicken tamales I bought and they were going bad, I think they were already old with a horrible smell and taste.
I ate them like this and I'm sick. Be careful with this restaurant.
IF you bought chicken tamales early today, please don't eat them.
A very nice place to eat good, healthy food, delicious, the customer service from the owner is very friendly, always with a smile so that her diners feel at home, definitely in a place to take the family to have a good time.and consume delicious food
Some of the best pupusas I’ve tasted. The service was absolutely amazing. This place is easily a 10/10.
