T.J. Maxx reviews
25They have a great selection and the staff was great. Their prices are a little on the high side. I usually shop at Ross for a little cheaper.
They used to have a lot of attractive items. Sadly today I couldn't find men's shoes, at all, women's shoes and clothes were extremely limited.
I think that is due to the pandemic. It was sad to see it kind of empty. I had to go to another store to get what I was looking for.
They have good quality clothing for men but in small variety and have lots of home decorations items which are high quality as well checkout was slow and service was ok.
I was shopping for the shoes. It took me for a while to get my size. An employee male came through the place where I was trying the shoes. He didn’t keep 6feet. He moved so close to me with the cart full of cleaning staff, and dirty mop on the top. It was really a nasty experience. He gave me a strange look. No more shopping at that place. Although, I were a regular customer for 20 years.
Cute clothes. The only problem is the make up is all torn up from people opening before purchaseing
On my visit the store looked kinda empty. I can understand with the covid-19 probably haven't been able to stock on new items.
Young Employees need to be educated better when working the register. Not pleased with the want to be multi Tasker letting other customers jump in front of me while i was trying to check out. Very disrespectful and will not return to the TJ Maxx store in the parks mall. Very disappointed.
Always something that you weren't expecting, even if there's only one. Sometimes famous brands if you have time to hunt.
Found beautiful euro pillows for my bed, I had bought some online but they arent as pretty. Can't beat shopping in a store!
Extremely poor custo.er service. The checkout line was extremely long, had been in line for twenty mins and there were only 2 people on the registers. I asked the store manager if anyone was available to assist, he looked at never said a word and turned around to continue whatever he was doing. Won't be back
My favorite thing to buy here is baby items, I’ve been able to find some amazing deals.
They have a large selection of juniors clothing as well. I do think Burlington has better prices when it comes to junior clothes (it was difficult to find any tops under $10 at TJ Maxx whereas I found several at Burlington) but that may be because Burlington carries brands that were cheaper to begin with. TJ Maxx definitely had a better selection of shorts and bottoms.
This TJ Maxx has to be the best in the city. Also connected to Home goods. Men's section is awesome!
Always a variety of things to purchase. Decent prices; staffs a bit on the rude side. Don't expect them to be helpful either. The place gets a bit messy (items all over the place, clothes on the floor, open boxes of make-up / nail polish, etc), but again, the prices are decent and that alone earns this place four stars (would be five if the staff wasn't SOOOO rude).
Nice, clean, well stocked, loved the purse section, the grandkids found t-shirts and blouses they purchased 2 a piece and I found table cloths and kitchen ware. Really good prices. Better than Ross!
Went in for something else but found other items that were nicer than what I was looking for. There was no line when I got to the checkout counter and prices were very reasonable. Love this place and have been there many times in the past for myself and my family.
Wish the makeup section was cleaner and makeup wasn't opened touched or broken. But other than that they have an amazing selection
You can find some good deals here on their clothing and their home goods. But the disorganization is unbelievable. Things are thrown around everywhere. Prepare to wait in line for a while and once you do get to check out, prepare for attitude. Had a lady try to accuse me of shoplifting because my cashier didn't put the bed set I bought in a bag. Of course she didn't, It's a flippin' bed set! It's huge! Didn't apologize when I showed her the receipt. Embarrassing and unacceptable!
We always love TJ Maxx usually for home furnishings, plants, towels, kids toys and clothes. The downside is they only have a few of each item, sizes are random in clothing so if it's there grab it then because it won't be there later. Clothing also is usually scattered so you have to look around for what you want. This particular location does not offer as much clearance items as other TJ Maxx stores I've visited. Arlington is just right because of the stadium I guess. My favorite TJ Maxx's have red tags throughout the store but at this location you really have to search for them. Good quality items usually.
Found some selected items cheaper than Costco and Ross. Just not a big selection but cleaner and more organized than Ross for sure.
Love this place. Went on a Saturday and talk with a lady at the jewerly department. Very nice older black women
