TLC Animal Hospital, El Paso TX

The front-desk staff, technicians, and Dr. Lara all provided exceptionally compassionate and professional service. Our 11-year old cat, Romulus Felis Felix, was extremely sick when we brought him to TLC as a walk-in patient. During that first visit, Dr. Lara provided us with more information and explanation about what might be causing Romulus' illness than we had obtained in several years. Romulus was in the hospital over the weekend, and Dr. Lara stayed in touch with those caring for Romulus over that weekend. After Romulus was discharged, Dr. Lara even called us after hours to provide results from a detailed analysis of Romulus' anemia that Dr. Lara had received from sending a blood sample to an outside lab. Dr. Lara then developed a rapid strategy for treatment. I wish I could remember the names of each person that assisted us. I would give them each six stars! I wish we had brought Romulus to TLC sooner.

The doctors here all seem to really care about all sorts of animals. They have helped me with my dog's IVDD and are conscientious about price. I definitely recommend them!

Always satisfied with the service. Dr. Lara is the best. Patty and Letty are a pleasure and are always professional and prompt, and all the rest of the staff is on it. Wouldn’t think about going to any other vet for our pets we know they are going to always get the best care there is.

We were able to take our parakeet in for a walk-in appointment.dr.dashley and the vet techs handled our little bird with excellent care and gentleness and explained everything very well.they were also very upfront about pricing and didn’t pressure us to make one decision or the other.we would recommend this place for anyone with avian needs!

They treat every patient as if it is their only patient. They go out of their way to find every possible solution to your four legged family members needs. They truly represent the TLC name. The staff and doctors have the biggest hearts.

Took my Oreo there for severe allergies. The staff was excellent. They were very nice and efficient. Very compassionate towards my dog and me.

I have used TLC Animal Hospital for many years, starting with Dr. Johnson. Every experience has been good. Seldom do you find a busy practice with many excellent doctors that always give you excellent advice and treatment. I highly recommend TLC for all your pet's needs.

Excellent animal hospital. Always great service from the front desk that are always willing to help. The several veterinarian techs are knowledgeable and are exemplary in the way they take care of the preliminary exam and are always gentle, not rushed, and caring. They are just the best young men and women assisting the veterinarian. And now the Veterinarians, these doctors are excellent beyond my ability to describe. I know they care about my pets (7 cats), never do they make me feel they are rushing, they gather a lot of information, do such a great job diagnosing any problems my pets have. I have two of my babies that are sick, one with cancer and one pending results that is very sick. I feel that these doctors care about my pets and they work with us on doing whatever is possible to make them comfortable and extending their life. These are experienced professionals that want so much to help both the cats and us get through these hard times. After being with this hospital for almost two years now I would never take my cats anywhere else. I have total confidence in them, their knowledge, their experience and their compassion. That holds true for every person I have met on their staff. These are experts and even have a pharmacy to dispense medication. I have gone to many vets in El Paso and have found the best place possible to bring my little dears that I love so much and that are so important to my life.

A bit more expensive than other vets but they do maintain a very nice and clean facility and provide good care. Very responsive and helpful.

Lately their techs have been a bit lackluster in communication while presenting different options of treatment and price quotes. You really have to ask a lot of questions and dig to find out what your options are. Otherwise they seem to guide you to whatever is the most expensive choice.

Their in house pharmacy is wildly expensive, im not an expert on the cost breakdown of maintaining a in-house pharmacy but they have been up to 500% more expensive than Chewy.

Our orange tabby cat, Taffy, has been receiving his veterinary care by TLC Animal Hospital for five years now. We couldn't be happier with the kind and professional service he receives from TLC Hospital. Dr. Dashley is his provider. She truly cares about Taffy's health and well being. He is not just a "patient number" to her. She takes the time to examine him carefully and lets us know his status in an easy to understand fashion. She is happy to answer any and all of our questions and/or concerns about Taffy's health. Dr. Dashley and her staff handle Taffy as gently as possible while going as quickly as possible to limit the time Taffy has to be, for example, held steady for his vaccines. This is great because, of course, Taffy, like most cats, does not like to be held steady. He would rather be running around and doing all the funny things he does that brings smiles to our hearts and freedom to his soul. If you love your pet like we love ours, let TLC Animal Hospital care for your pets health care needs. They love our Taffy as much as we do. You will not find such excellent pet care anywhere else. Amazing service, extremely patient with our big baby boy, Dale. Understanding that he requires his momma to assist in all his treatment.

The doctors and assistants are attentive, patient and caring. My dog gets very nervous but they take time to conduct thorough examinations and provide me with detailed information. Always a positive experience when I take him to TLC.

Had a poison scare with my mixed breed puppy, Angel. I came in the door and once the staff saw my distress they reacted with immediate care and concern and rushed Angel to the back. Angel is fine and will come back in several weeks for an assessment thanks to the staff at TLC.

My dog was attacked and badly hurt I brought him to TLC animal hospital and they were so amazing with my dog took very good care of him, everyone from the staff to the dr are very nice and attentive I recommend this place!

Caring staff. The doctors are thorough and are also great communicators. The facility is clean and pleasant. Most of the time the wait times are not long.
