So first off they make you pay a ref fee every game on top of the overall team fee you pay at the start, second off the ref we have had multiple games in a row showed up late and they do not pause the clock, you just have to wait for him to show up while the clock runs down, second off you still have to pay him full price, third off the ref would pull out his phone in the middle of the game and just text people. The ref did this all in front of the Blue Sky employee and nothing happens. We told the staff and the response was “sorry we can’t really do anything about it”. It’s just very frustrating you still have to pay the ref full price even though he is cutting into game time, that we pay for, because he is late; and then when he does show up he doesn’t pay attention and gets on his phone. It sucks even more we got no support from the blue sky staff that literally watched all this go down. Would highly recommend somewhere else for an indoor league, Blue Sky just does not take it seriously.

Playing in the youth leagues is a terrible experience for new players. They put all the new kids and those that haven’t played before onto one team. So they get to play against the teams that have played together for years. It is an absolute beat down for the kids. So part way through the season half the team stops showing up. Then you are playing one to two players down, and the coaches on the other teams don’t pull players so that it’s more even. They use this as an opportunity to beat you team down even more. I cannot more strongly state this, I would not recommend signing your kid up for these leagues.

Update———————-
Management has reached out to me about changes coming this fall. If they work as explained to me, it may resolve these issues. If we try it again, I will update the review at that time.

I agree with Larry's review. The league is a joke. My daughter's team is the only house team and they are getting slaughtered against teams that have been together for years. Management doesn't really care even though theyll reply to this saying they do. If they cared theyd find a way to fix this. If there are no house teams then just say there are no house teams so I don't waste my money to lose 30-0 every game. We won't be back after we finish this debacle of a season. Go elsewhere.

***TOCA NIGHTMARE***
My daughter has been doing TOCA sessions for the past 2 months. She has enjoyed the training and the trainers are great up until now we will no longer be continuing TOCA sessions with Blue Sky in Keller. We started by signing her up for a total of 4 sessions within the month for a fee of $299 (yes I’m aware it’s ridiculously expensive) however it was working for her and I could see an improvement in her skills almost immediately. The first month was a trial run for us and then we would discuss if we wanted to further training, well before we could get to that discussion we were charged $299 without authorization. My husband called and spoke to the manager Brian who apologized and confirmed that we should not have been charged as we were not signed up for auto pay. Since they were being nice about It we left it alone and continued into the second month with 4 paid sessions to go and were told that the auto pay was removed from our account and when we are ready for more sessions we could sign her up anytime. Today we were charged again. $299 was taken from our account without authorization, so my husband called Brian to complain as this was the second time and was told it wouldn’t happen again. Brian’s demeanor completely changed and told my husband that not only are we under contract which policies auto pay but in order to get a refund for the unauthorized charge we would have to breach contract which would cause her to lose all of her already paid sessions. So now my daughter doesn’t get to finish her sessions we already paid for. This is not the first time I have heard of issues with the front desk on several different occasions and something needs to change. I highly recommend choosing another source for your child’s soccer training as there are several other affordable options out there in North Texas and this one is not worth the time or money.

This is the first time we have gone through Blue Sky and so far this experience has been horrible. We signed our son up for indoor soccer and they forgot to send entire team to any communication. Like when practice stated or when games were. Had we not called to ask when practice started they would have never reached out.

They did not have a coach for our team and in their words they were “just hoping” a parent would volunteer. Well Blue Sky, hope is not a plan. So for extremely disappointed in the staff and competency of this business.

I have to say this was a very bad experience especially for the children playing.the other team was obviously favored by the ref and was allowed to push, purposefully trip, hands on more than any other game I have seen here and we have been coming for 3 years. Asked for the manager to see if he would intervene or say something, waited for him to get back to me to discuss the matter and he wouldn't even look my way. Horrible customer service.

The facility is nice. Front desk is friendly and helpfull. I just dont like how there is no limit on the number of players on a team. You shouldnt be able to replace the entire field more than twice. I also think the referees need more training. Some are more involved than others. Some dont seem to do much of anything; just stand on the side.

I play here. Do like it. Now if you have an issue just be ready to be ignored. Karen who is the manager to this facility does not return calls or emails. They want you to go during business hours when we are work?
They have plenty of teams don't care if you stay. Sucks

Currently play O30 Mens league here, but the ball situation and really late games is getting ridiculous. Every game we lose at least 3 balls to the netting that is above, which they will not lower until the end of day, which I assume is after late game midnight? On top of that our team specifically has lost at least 3, $80+ balls that were all labeled with names and phone numbers. Now we buy $10 Walmart balls and use those. I would suggest providing nice game balls, which the refs can keep track of, then the teams don't have to worry about losing balls.
The other thing I hate is games at 10: 45 and 11: 30pm, I know you want to make money, but having 4 games in a season at this time equals me playing half the games in the season. O30- most of us have jobs the next day, I can't be getting home at 1am. Please take this feedback. I've heard both of these items come up for many teams.

Love this place. Been playing here for a little over 13 years and have met so many amazing people. The staff there are all so friendly as well. They are now owned by Toca.

Great facility and staff! My children and soccer teams have played here for years. Ben and Karen are super helpful, committed and accommodating every time we need something!

How is this place even teaching kids to play. You have to volunteer to coach. Have to pay extra just to practice. Then pay for everything else on top of it. Refs don’t ref at all.

It was very warm in the building. None of the fans were working, and no one was to be found at the front desk. It is very disappointing to pay for indoor hockey, and be that uncomfortable. I understand the fans have not worked for over a year! Why can’t someone do something about this problem? What’s going on here?

Blue Sky continues to do a disservice to their patrons. No more refs because they felt “verbally abused”. No…you guys have not wanted to pay refs for 5 years now. You made the teams bring cash for them a few years ago. You continue to show it’s all about money and not about the player.
