Tofu Factory Korean Cuisine reviews
20 This restaurant is now one of my go-to Korean food restaurants. I had Pork Spicy Tofu Soup with Seafood Pancake, which was amazing! Especially the seafood pancake was full of seafood and crunch. The owners are a young Korean couple who are friendly with excellent service. This place is clean with a great atmosphere! I liked it way better than another Korean Tofu place in Carrollton.
I should have taken the picture!
I was so happy to have real Korean food here. The Sunbudu stew had a deep flavor and the pork bulgogi was seasoned well. And the seafood green onion pancakes and sauce taste just like the ones I had in Korea. The value for money was so good that I was worried about whether I would make a profit selling it at this price. I highly recommend it
We went to celebrate Lunar New Year and stopped by this place for lunch. We definitely enjoyed our time inside as it was drizzling outside. Portions of the food are good. Kimchi soup is missing tanginess, it was on a sweet side for my taste. Flavor was good. They give small appetizers as starters and it is a nice touch.
TLDR: Food was good but not great, took a long time to come out, and was going cold by the time it came to the table.
Came in for dinner with a group of friends on a cold day wanting some delicious and hot sundubu-jjigae. We ordered a tteokbokki and haemul pajeon (seafood pancake) to share, and I got the combo pork belly and beef tofu soup for myself.
Tteokbokki - tasted good, but the portion was much smaller than what the picture on the menu showed
Haemul pajeon - crispy, but came out almost room temp: (
Grilled pork belly - came out on a hot plate but was cold? Like hello? As a result, the onions that were layered below the pork stayed raw. Unfortunate because the pork was grilled well.
Beef tofu soup - Flavor was great, but was also going cold. When I want tofu soup I expect it to come out boiling vigorously in the hot clay pot, so this was disappointing to say the least.
At least the banchan was good.
The place looks old and dirty but at least the food is decent. I like the tofu soups and the kimchi fried rice.
Would not recommend the bibimbaps just because the assortment of veggies they include was weird
In the past the service was pretty bad but today if say it was fast and good
Try spicy chicken, it’s very tasty! Portions are very generous. Seasoning is just right. Family atmosphere. Clean place and friendly service. It gets busy after 6.
The best soft tofu stew in Dallas.
Friendly service.
Good price.
Clean restroom.
Highly recommend.
Service was top notch, very attentive. Food was good. A tad on the sweet side but not in a bad way.
They have all the Korean favorites. The soups are really good. Get the seafood pancake for sure
Twelve members of our team enjoyed a Friday lunch together, and it was a delightful experience. I highly recommend it.
Delicious! I loved the galbi and kimchi stew! Service is amazing! The workers are very nice and attentive.
If you were to eat korean food, this is THE place to go to. Every dish is full of flavor and people there are very nice. My favorite was pajeon.
I am from Korea and this is literally authentic k food. The taste perfectly satisfied my tongue. I recommend this place for everyone who wanna know how we make food in south korea.
I go for the Kalbi, macaroni salad' and fish cake. The best I've found that had all 3.
Very nice Korean restaurant, courteous staff, there is a service bell on each table, you may order plain tofu soup without spicy, that’s really nice, the beef bolbgogi is also awesome, definitely recommend!
We are regulars in Tofu factory because of the amazing food, excellent service. I especially appreciate cleanliness and fast service. Also, free appetizers always delicious, especially lettuce salad that they serve to everybody for free. Can’t recommend more. It’s our favorite spot in Richardson
Got the seafood pancake and the beef tofu soup! Loved the spice and the crispiness of the seafood pancake brought it all together. The amazing side dishes added to it all; the fish cake, bean sprouts, and kimchi were wonderful!
First time here. I ordered to go. Hats off to these guys.awesome food.definitely coming back again
Not sure why anyone would want to go to a Korean place in Chinatown when there are legit Korean towns in the metro, but I did just for the heck of it and probably will be the last time.
The Chicken Bibimbap was good and Tofu soup was top notch. I ordered spicy level 4 and it was Spicyyyyy. I didn’t wuite like the Soy garlic wings though, was too sweet for me.
