Tom N Toms Coffee, Carrollton TX

This place is open until 22: 00. I really like this part. Most of the comfortable seats (sofas) are already occupied by other people, but the other seats are still uncomfortable. We also sell coffee, drinks, and snacks to satisfy your hunger.

They keep changing wifi password every day
Warning signs everywhere.
I was waiting with the employees outside for 10m cause the manager (or owner) was late. I see that they haven't set up, so I went upstair. 5 minutes later, the middle-aged women used the speaker and told me, "I had to order something to stay. ". It was only 5 minutes, and it is your fault to begin with.

This place is hostile and likes to control people

We love the food and atmosphere …but the bathroom is not clean it could use a good sanitize service.we drive 45 min to come here and wish there was a feeling of being appreciated as a customer

Manager Yelled at a minor for bringing outside food. This was her first time she didn’t know, could have simply told her not allowed.

Fantastic, relaxed coffee shop. Two floors so get upstairs and read a book with a good typical cup of joe, or my choice today a Taro latte

It's definitely a smaller shop vibe despite the unusually large size.

Those are the words we were told when we barely sat in the cafe for 5 minutes. It wasn't said kindly either.

The place is not very welcoming. I understand that the management would like for people to buy things instead of sitting around to stay inside- they are after all a business. I found it a problem however that the cashier ominously stares at us while I walk in, sit down, then sends someone off who tells us in a rather rude manner to buy something or leave. It's not even the buying part that gets me, its the rudeness and unwelcomed aura that is received when they tell you these things.

I would of brushed it off had it been said in a nicer manner, as it is understandable and I mean no bad intention. It is unfortunate that the approach of these individuals ruined the experience of the cafe over something that easily could've been avoided or addressed in a nicer manner. It discouraged me from buying anything.

I wouldn't reccomend this place. Honestly at this point go to a Starbucks or somewhere else but not here.

They will kick you out if they see you eating any food that isn't theirs. Mediocre coffee and snacks, so not much to work with. It's supposed to be a study area, but only one charger port in the entire area works. Additionally, half of the seating is closed off/reserved. As of now, all of the 3+ booths upstairs have chains on them because they're "reserved". Some environment.

While I situating myself, the cranky owner came up to me and urged me to buy something to be in the cafe. "The cafe policy" she said. I would never be treated like this in, say, Starbucks whose quality of coffee is as basic as Tom N Toms. Incredibly overpriced. The worst is the choice of background music. I came in to decompress. I leave more stressed than before.

Very nice, I don't even know how to speak English, I had to use my phone and the translator, they treated me very well, quiet place to study or read a book, in my case I went to read for a while.

Tom N Toms is a great place for studying or hanging with a friend! There are lots of tables and even a second floor full of tables! It’s open late and has great vibes!

Cute place. A lot of space but the management/owner is really mean and kinda rude. They’ve always been kinda unwelcoming but then today A friend and I went inside after grocery shopping so that we could sit down, order some food and drinks and just work on our laptops but we didn’t want to walk all the way back to our car and leave a milk product in the car so we had it with us sealed in a grocery bag. They basically shooed us out of the place because it was “an outside drink” it was a sealed carton of milk…. We were going to sit and spend money at their establishment but they basically yelled at us to leave in front of everyone…that was definitely the final determination for me to never come back or spend my money here…I HIGHLY recommend Mozart, Moge, or R&B. They are MUCH nicer to you and super welcoming.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. The manager treats customers with absolutely no respect. The food and drinks are overpriced and not good. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Really cute atmosphere. It's a really huge cafe, and when we walked in, it smelt like breakfast!

Picked this place randomly to have some afternoon coffee and a snack, and very glad we did! It has high ceiling, comfortable seating and big tables, upstairs look cozy too. The mango milk snow flakes was feather light and tasty without tons of syrup. The roses latte was fragrant and strong. Already looking forward to going back!

I have never had such a poor experience anywhere. This is the most unwelcoming place I have step foot in. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I came in with 3 people and we bought 1 drink as a group. I didn’t really want coffee or any food I just wanted a place to study. The worker then forced us to buy more food. We bought one more thing even though we just wanted to study. After buying two things he then proceeded to yell at us disrespectfully and tried to force us to buy more food insisting that every single person buy something. This was such a negative experience and we decided to leave. The owners are so incredibly rude to their customers. Also the coffee is mediocre at best and overprice.

Coming in, the atmosphere was already off. There are lots of passive aggressive signs all over the shop. I came to study and was just going to get a pastry and my friend didn't want anything. Owner/manager demanded we both need to order something if we wanted to stay and told us to go to a public library instead if we BOTH didn't get something. Super rude, I don't know why anyone would support such a business.

After spending $40 on overpriced, subpar food, I was yelled at and lectured by the manager of the establishment. After being publicly embarrassed, they kicked out a paying customer for a reason that other customers were also doing as well. As they have the right to do what they want, I urge us customers to use our right of never setting foot in this place ever again.

Never have a seen a shop so obsessed with putting up passive aggressive signs, it's very weird. Even the bathroom has weird handwritten signs. Food and drinks are pretty expensive, pretty much Starbucks prices. Drinks are alright. I much prefer when this location was a Brown Sugar, it's unfortunate.

This place is terrible, yesterday I went with my friend and she wanted to pay for my drink and I said no, the person was there she thought I didn't want anything and told us that I also had to buy something if I wanted to stay there, these people are obsessed with everyone buying a drink, be careful if you bring a baby they will also want you to buy a drink for him. I will never go back to this place.
