Tom Thumb reviews
25This Tom Thumb is by far the cleanest and friendliest one I've been to. It has changed a lot since the last time I came years ago. I walked in around 9 AM on a Sunday and the staff was cleaning thoroughly with still having other staff available to help. Very well managed.
Well kept and we'll stocked. Nothing I looked for was out of place or out of stock. Tom Thumb appears to be the Publix of Texas. I like what I've seen and intend to return! Plus, the staff was kind and checkout was quick.
Unprofessional staff. White lady behind the customer service desk is extremely rude and unhelpful.
This is what I found in the middle of the ground beef I bought! Are they mix old and new together? !
Mr. Webb, the store manager, was one of the rudest men I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Not only was he SUPER unhelpful towards me when I needed help finding an item and he says that “it’s not his job”, I witnessed him yelling at an employee to the point of tears. I shop at Tom Thumb regularly but never again will I visit this location due to this managers behavior.
Everytime we go in this store the clerk gets on the speaker saying security scan all aisles, I guess he thinks all black folks steal! Smdh never again!
Always good service, as with most Tom Thumbs. Fast self-service checkout lines. More expensive than Wal-Mart but faster shopping and much better service. (Can be less than Walmart for some items each week using the store sale card)
It's a good location, definitely love the self-check out when are you in a rush and need to quickly get in and out. Usually come in for a few quick items, including champagne and soda drinks. Usually not packed or crowded and that's a great thing: D
Great store. Usually really close to neighborhood so it doesn't take really long to get here and there usually not that many long lines.
I like this Tom Thumb. Clean well laid out and the produce section was phenomenal highly recommend going to
Probably one of the most convenient stores to go to for a quick shopping trip or a nice meal. My favorite thing to purchase and what I have dubbed the kingwich is an entire loaf of French bread with everything you want in a sandwich for only 8 bucks one of the best if not the best deal for a sandwich you can get their store itself has a great variety of items and the staff is always there to help you and are courteous and pleasant stock to at checkout.
Meh. This is my neighborhood grocery store. It is ok. Wish fresh produce and meat were better. I shop here still because it has a great location for me.
Friendly staff. However if you are in a rush this place is not the best option. They let people to use the express lane for guys with more than 50 items. At night is not crowded what makes it more enjoyable shopping.
Really good produce. Also very organized and easy to find products. The flower department has many selections and good service. The store was clean and well maintained.
For a Tom Thumb, generally an excellent location! Store is clean and well-maintained with a wide product selection and excellent, friendly staff. My only complaint would be the gimicky high pricing common to Tom Thumb as a whole.
Since being taken over by Albertsons, the quality of people, and product has gone down. The people are rude, and don't seem to care about their customer!
Tom Thumb is a good grocery store. The prices will be higher than Walmart, but it will have some items you won’t find at Walmart (such as mixed nut protein milk). Think of it as a middle ground between Walmart and While Foods. They also sell stamps, and this location has a Western Union, a gift card exchange, Redbox, and the coin machine for turning in coins
I’ve been shopping here for 12 years and won’t go anywhere else because everyone at this location is friendly and helpful. (They do occasionally seem short-handed at busy times of the day; that’s not the fault of the individual employees though, and they always deal with it professionally as best they can).
Loved the service i got and especially how polite everyone was i just moved to Dallas so difenetly will be shopping here again
