Tom Thumb reviews
17Good grocery store. Needs fresher produce and a little difficult to navigate. Overall it has food. If you need food it works.
The workers on the floor are always helpful Nd the checkoutservice is always helpful as I bring my own bags to save tothe world.keep up the good service
One of my favorite stores to go to.when I have the money, of course. Tom Thumb has long been a higher priced, "regular" grocery store but most know this by now. The majority of the time, the cleanliness, the wide selection of products, and the excellent service warrants the price tag. Although I have a few that I can call my real friends working there, most of the staff is friendly and very helpful.
Their selection of meats is some of the best in the city as the butcher staff is highly competent, and you'll be able to find almost every cut of meat there. If you're looking for quality, this store should be near the top of your list.
Bought a cake at this place got home and cake was all messed up, called talked to a manager named Jim went in person, he didn't care to deal with the situation and the employee at the bakery was very arrogant
This Tom Thumb is my favorite grocery store south of 635 to downtown and I've been to them all. It's never too crowded, always stocked, clean and well staffed with customer service oriented people. They carry a good selection of products, pet food, wine and produce. I always find what I'm looking for at this location. There are about 10 other grocery stores closer to me than this one but I go out of my way to shop here. That's how much I like it.
Great deli with hot and cold foods ready to eat at their outdoor seating. The best thing about this location is they offer poke freshly made as well as ramen. Both are delicious
Great new store layout from last time I was there. Social distancing layout is great. And delivery is an option.
Great layout! More wine than most wine stores. Variety and value make this store my "top pick". Sale price may not be the actual price you pay, though. Discrepancies were found on my last visit, so review receipt closely.
I had a terrible experience at this store. I had asked a man working there where an item would be and he immediately started yelling "you're welcome" over and over again. When I asked him what the problem was, he just kept repeating himself. This guy was beyond rude. I did speak with the store director and he assured me that he would take care of it.
After the store renovation, it is a lot more inviting. The materials and food service portions were upgraded. Nice atmosphere. Will continue to stop here.
I always enjoy my visits to Tom Thumb on Preston Road. Staff is friendly, store is always very clean, items are stocked with correct pricing, and I can check out fast.
Probably the most under performing TT in Dallas. Not that it's all bad but it has the least selection for the size of the store. And the restock is late from the veges to the chicken wings. If not for Rose, it would be easy to go else where. If you're kosher it's great no doubt.
Great grocerystore Very good Kosher section along with a kosher butcher shop, deli. Good selection of other grocery items, cosmetics and floral Dept. Larger store than ones close to me but work the trip.
This is our most convenient neighborhood store. Great location and selection. Prices on our main staples are always good.
An excellent, neighborhood Tom Thumb! Product selection is quite extensive at this location, and even more products are being rolled out following a recent renovation. Also, the store is kept quite clean, and is well-staffed by a friendly staff who help to get you in and out quickly. The only drawback is Tom Thumb's typical high, gimmicky pricing, but any DFW resident has long known about that already.
The nicest grocery store I've ever seen. The produce section looks like something from a photography magazine. Most importantly, they have crispy chicken wings in the chicken wing bar!
Came in for a salad at the salad bar, no lettuce, food looked old, soup look old and gross, God forbid you ask a store employee for help. They will put more lettuce out tomorrow.ok. I'll be back, never, grossest Tom Thumb. Keep your lettuce in the back, thank you from saving me from whatever you can catch from food.
