TONE CITY CUTS 1, San Antonio TX

I took my boys there and I didn't like their hair cuts. I wanted a simple boys cut, but got a fade with nothing done to the top hair.

Worst haircut ever. Music and barbers were loud. They had friends that were hanging out or I don’t know if they were barbers as well. My barber took a long time to do my fade on the sides. My scalp was burning and he kept rubbing the hot clippers over and over for about more than 40 minutes. On the top part he only cut the front side of my head and it was all chopped and the back side he didn’t not cut anything only some hairs that were hanging out on the side. I closed my eyes the whole process while listening to the other people talking all loud and some kept walking by and they would hit my feet very rude. On top of that my barber added hairspray to make a hairstyle I did not ask. Since he chopped the front part all ugly he asked the other barbers if he should add water to fix the hair and they told him YES! … so he started spraying spraying water all over my forehead and hair, the water was dripping on my face and getting into my eyes and he didn’t even bother to wipe with a towel or napkin he let the water dry. The water combined with the hairspray so it made my eyes sticky if I were to open them. On top of that the other people were making jokes and laughing out loud and I didn’t even know if they were referring to me or something else since I couldn’t understand anything with the music being loud and barber talking back to them too. He added more hairspray and pulled my hair all the way to the back and cut the little hairs that were coming out. After being there for an hour and 20 minutes. I cleaned my eyes and I was just ready to leave. I asked for the price and he charged me $40 dollars. Where on an Acapulco I pay $25 for a 4-5 stars experience. I come home to find out he didn’t cut any hairs from the top on the back side just the front. Idk what kind of haircut he had in mind. Please do not come here and this is the last time I go get a haircut without having my own barber. There some stuff more I want to add but just overall worst experience I ever had. I just closed my eyes and wish I was somewhere else. I’m not confrontational so I paid and left being very upset and confused about what I experienced.

First time going to tone city cuts I took my 3 son's for a haircut that took hours and they charged me $40 each the most I've ever paid for all 3 of my sons haircuts was $20 every where in san Antonio and doesn't take hours to be done so I won't be going back to tone city again

Great barbers, great environment… true barbershop atmosphere. I highly recommended. The cuts are pro-level for sure.

Well when I was their at culebra location the place was dirty like no one clean up anything. I set in the chair The barber said I did not have to wear my mask.
Barber had his baby there crying at the same time I was trying to tell him my haircut style. As soon as he started cutting my hair he started playing his music very very loud. Make sure you take cash because they do not take credit cards I was lucky I had just enough cash. Not very professional I did not feel comfortable will not return to this location.

Very unprofessional. They will schedule an appointment and leave you waiting. This was my second time going there and both times they left me waiting. When I asked why I had to wait if I had an appointment there response was, " we party the night before and they sleep in the next morning. So why schedule an appointment that they can't keep. I guess sleeping is more important than business and customers.

It's ok. But i went once, and dude that opens store (At that time), says " you picked a good day to come, it's $ X cuts today & Thursday. " So I went back on a Thursday and he charged me the regular price. That's cool, but don't say it if you're not sticking to it! Otherwise, decent cuts.
