Torchy's Tacos reviews
16 You can never go wrong with torchys
Edit: Changing my review to 4 instead of 5 stars, I've made pickup orders and done the curbside pickup a couple times and they never bring the food so don't bother waiting in your car, if you aren't going to actually being the food out, please take the sign down
Uniquely different tacos. Don't think Mexican and you will be fine. They messed up two orders before the food was good and their margarita wasn't too sweet.
I ordered carryout, waited 20 minutes and the food was not hot. The chips and salsa were warm but everything else was not. I'm not sure if I'm going to visit Torchy Tacos again.
The bartenders always fast and friendly and the drinks so good. Always stop in for some of those damn good tacos as well as the queso and chips. That hot sauce (Diablo) is so good and perfect with my brisket and carnitas tacos.
Very Very Rude! Tried calling 3 different times and they did not pick up. The 3rd time I called, they picked up the phone and then hung up immediately.
Maybe just a busy day, but everyone had a bad case of allergic reaction for shrimps.not sure never experienced that before.
I placed an online order for curbside pickup. The time estimate for me to be there was 9: 20 PM. I arrived at 9: 25 PM and pulled into space 3. I texted to let them know I was there. The car next to me in 2, after I had waited about 7 minutes, went in to get their order. During this time, another curbside customer pulled into 1. After the #2 person came back out, I texted again that I was here for my order.
After another 5 minutes, the customer in #1 got tired of waiting and went in to get their food. I was done at this point. I called the location and asked for a manager. I told the lady I wanted to cancel my order. She confirmed who I was, said it would take 22 hours for it to go back to my card and sounded like she was going to hang up.
No apology, no questions as to why I was cancelling, or any concern at all really. I managed to stop her and told her she might want to know why I was upset. I explained what happened and that it had happened to two other people while I was waiting. She mumbled something about not having enough people to check the phone. Still little concern it seemed.
She then said it was ready if I wanted to get it. Flabbergasted, I told her I wanted it cancelled still, I was only trying to make her understand that her location was completely dropping the ball on curbside. She said no problem and hoped I had a better night.
If this is the level of concern a manager can struggle to put forth, then you can tell they just don't care. Unfortunately the contact page for Torchys just tells you to call the location, so apparently corporate doesn't give AF either. Sadly this seems to be endemic with multiple locations, which sucks as they are celiac friendly.
Slow service. Our pick up wasn't ready until 30 minutes after our order time and 10 minutes after the promised time. This is not the service we've experienced at other Torchy's.
Meh. Torchy's in general is way overrated. Terrible food delivery system walking around aimlessly delivering multiple tables while the last gets cold.
You guys make your delivery drivers wait an excessive amount of time for the orders. And every employee I've ever interacted with here is just like whatever.
The food is very good. This particular Torchys though, the times we have been there, the wait is long and the restaurant itself is not very clean meaning tables and chairs. Had to clean them ourselves before sitting down. The employees are very friendly and always helpful when ask for anything. Again, food is very good.
I’ve had the Mr. Orange taco several times before, but this was the worst one I’ve had from any of the locations. Doesn’t look anything like the picture, zero cilantro, salmon was super dry. Maybe the cook was having an off day, but wasn’t the best experience.
Great food for the most part trailer park taco is great and queso is phenomenal. Sometimes slight mistakes in take out order but they’re always willing to make it up to you.
Tacos are good most of the time. The problem is with the delivery system. They give you a buzzer that doesn’t really serve a purpose and the servers can never find where you are and it seems like if they can’t find you they just take the food somewhere and put it down until you go up the counter to ask where your food is. This has happened multiple times wjth Nookies and by the time we get them they are no longer even warm. It worked better when they gave you a hanging number the servers could easily see when distributing orders
Updating: Returned to this location and the experience was a complete 180. I enjoy this location and frequent it so I'm glad I haven't had an experience like the previous one since. (Review was updated from 2stars to 5)
