Torchy's Tacos, Waco TX

Well taste was good, but my fajitas were cold. Green chili pork was really good and served warm! Cashier literally was leaning on her elbows looking at her phone for several minutes while I stood waiting. I am watching her still doing that with other customers. Server was friendly and great!

Update: credit was issued and I went back a couple of weeks later. This time the food was good, and hot, and service was great!

This was AWESOME! WOW! ¡ Very friendly staff, and the food was beyond delicious! Probably the best queso I have ever had! Barely had sat down and chips and queso was there. Right at we finished that, the rest of our food came. Prices were very reasonable as well. Highly recommend Torchy's Tacos!

I had stopped at several places near there. I finally decided to give them a try. The food was great, but all of the employees were attentive. It made me feel special

Very wonderful experience after a long day. Chris and the ladies at the counter were extremely helpful. I absolutely love this store, especially after a day of catering myself. Thank you again for an amazing close to my day.

Sadly, one of my favorites has really declined. Service was horrible, ordered with no one in line. He had plenty of time to get a 3 item order correct. Total screw up on every point. It was a carry out, so I sat the bar for a beer. No server, waited a while finally showed, ordered, then had to track down the server to pay. Fully staffed and place was empty.

Everything smelled and tasted so good! Don't even remember what we got but it was great

Great food. Service lacking. Could use a decent cleaning as well. Not a big deal, but if your picky, in a hurry, or easily agitated you may want to avoid. Very good mixed drinks at the bar, try the paloma.

Tacos amazing. Margarita okay.a little over kill on the lime juice for our liking. Atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The volume from all the employee's group chatting was overwhelming. Probably won't come back to this location.

I ordered through the website and it never came I called the store and they said they are not responsible for it it went through there delivery partner I ask for a refund they couldn’t do that either I hate Waco such a bad experience every since I been here can’t wait to leave

Got same mixed drink as time before and tasted nothing like it. Chips and queso were very good though.

Still haven’t gotten an answer to my question. Can you explain why handicap parking is on the other side of the parking lot?

Great food, especially if you like variety in your tacos! So many options, bar, and lots of seating options.

Absolutely enjoyed the food. The queso was delicious as recommended by other reviews.

The only thing that would keep me from coming back to this particular restaurant was the gentleman working the register. He was so incredibly rude when ordering! We ended up having to run the card twice because he didn’t add drinks on to our original bill and he acted like he was going to die doing that extra work. Not my fault you didn’t do it right the first time. Dude was an absolute tool.

I love Torchy’s! The food is always great. The particular location and day the people were not so great. I came in for a pick up order and there was no bags ready for pick up so I went to the bar. No one greater me and the 2 guys at the counter were loudly talking and swearing to each other while lifting the computer. Not sure what was happening. Some one came out of the kitchen and asked if I needed help and I told him I was picking up. He point to the pick shelf that was still empty. He then went back in to the kitchen. The bartnener showed up and asked me what I would like and handed me a menu and I said I had a pick up order and she set 4 margaritas in front of me. I only had one on my order. She then made my order and at some point my food order showed up on the shelf but everyone was too busy to say anything. Sad customer service at that location.

Some of the best guac and queso around. I always get The Democrat, and find one to be filling enough for me. I also enjoy the chicken fajita and Mo-faux (even though it's soy with is terrible for you, but they've managed to make it taste amazing).

I usually order online and pick it up to go. Inside area can be a little loud. Outdoor area is a nice option.

The food was delicious! You have to get the hillbilly queso! Unfortunately, the grumpy blonde haired guy running the register ruined the atmosphere from the beginning.

Great Queso! Ft. Worth location is nice inside with great customer service - Waco location needs to be cleaned and once you have your food they never check back in with you (so no customer service). All the different Taco combinations they've come up with are fun to try.

And I'll be back soon to get some more damn good tacos.also this was the first time at this particular location and the staff was awesome
