Torchy's Tacos, Lubbock TX

First time at this location and terrible experience. No ice in either machine and no tea. Dirty tables all around and just dirty looking. Food arrived but without the chips and queso I ordered. The lady wasn’t even going to say anything. I asked and she “oh they are running behind on that”. I then asked for ice because the line at the bar was long and I didn’t want to stand in line again after the long line for ordering. She completely dismissed me asking for ice. I went to the bar and got some. Just a terrible experience. Don’t plan to go back.

The food was fine. I will say up front I don't mind bussing my own table when I'm done eating, but in the past, employees would come by and get my trash voluntarily or we would leave it and it would be taken care of. If your policy has changed, then please let your customers know. My daughter and I were chased down as we were leaving and told we left our trash on the table and needed to clean it up. While this same employee was cleaning another customers table that had left their trash on the table. Don't single me out and embarrass me in front of the entire restaurant if you aren't going to do that to all of your customers. I will not be back.

I wish this location was as dependably good as the one by tech. We've had a lot of take out orders here that didnt have all the ingredients or sauces requested or that should be on the taco.

Don’t order from this location your order will not include all of your items that you paid for and your tacos will be cold and sloppy. Most of my chips are congealed together and soft. I paid for pico which is $3 dollars and did not receive it. This store does not respect or value their customers enough to read a ticket or make sure their food is made correctly.

Waited 45 minutes and still hadn't gotten my food, when the place was 1/3 full. The food is good, but not good enough to wait 45 minutes.

My experience with this place wasn't very good. From the moment I ordered, the food took forever, it then arrived cold, orders were not given to us, I just asked for my money back that was not done right as well, I was double charged and the process just to get a refund was very time consuming. OMG! Not a pleasant experience. I will recommend no one to this place or ever return. Bad service, bad food, and bad management.terrible

Rude staff. Placed order online and was totally ignored when picking up. Then rudely pointed to the order on a shelf. Sorry for the inconvenience- staff…. I will not be coming back or recommending.

Eh. It's ok. If you like R tacos then you probably don't like Torchy's, if you don't like R tacos you probably like Torchy's. Not my kind of flavors.

Love love love these tacos! Was here from out of state. Couldn't go wrong picking this restaurant to eat at. Their food is amazing!

Although the food can be a bit pricey, it is always delicious and filling. The service is always great! We even got free taco cards there once for doing a quick 30-second survey.

I have always had decent experience coming here. Today not so Bueno. Super disappointed. Our to go order went missing. Waited another hour to get our order. Our order was 2 tacos and some queso.

Tacos were good, not $5 a taco good but still good, peppers and tomatoes were fresh and chicken was grilled well.

Food was disgusting cold tortillas cold food was not temping at all floor was dirty drink station was dirty just had to leave my food cuz it was disgusting. Also women's restroom handicap stall wasn't even fit to shut door properly. I guarantee if a health inspector went in there unannounced they'd fail. It all comes down to the manager closing manager open manager be cleaner. The restaurant is gross. I went on at 230 pm.

I love Torchy's for lunch in particular, as service is fast, and I can refill my own drinks. I like the Tipsy Chick taco with a side of the street corn. The manager, Johnathan, always says hello as we dine.

Overall average experience. The tacos are nice, they are a bit pricey though - would hope for the price they would be higher quality. The place was a bit messy, as there were no clean tables available. The food came out pretty quick though.

Good food. Unfortunately, the bartenders are not interested in helping you of you're not a man. I eat there at least once a week, despite the service and door dash there multiple times a week. So sad that these two girls will eventually ruin it for everyone as i have personally watched them neglect to talk to anyone, again, unless you are 6 ft and have a beard…. Sad…

I love Torchy’s, the food slaps every time! Something weird though, every time I ask for more chips, I don’t get them, even in their less busy times. It’s happened three times now! Is it a fluke or are they trained to not give you more chips unless you ask more than once
