TotalCare Emergency Room, Frisco TX

I just moved here from California and before I moved, I was diagnosed with Colitis. However, getting to that diagnosis took months after 2 years of constant flares ups, and dealing with horrible medical staff. Emergency visits were hopeless, as they would inject me with morphine and say that is all they could do and rush me out. When I finally got a GI doctor to take a closer look, the Colonoscopy revealed Mild Colitis - however I had to contact the GI doctor after weeks of no contact to find out if the results came back from the Colonoscopy. His response was, "Hi, you have mild colitis. How is your diarrhea? " I had to ask him what Colitis was, is it treatable, what do I do when I flare up. He responded that it was inflammation of the bowels and to take a daily probiotic. That was it! Fast forward 6 months, we have relocated to Texas due to our job, and I had a sudden flare up. I found Total Care ER on yelp, and with the positive reviews, I had to give it a try. I cannot tell you how happy I was that I did! Dr. Farley and his staff were amazing. I literally was in tears in my vehicle after I was discharged, because I felt so much relief and hope that I was finally going to get this disease under control. They were so caring, accommodating, and I have NEVER been in and out of an ER so quickly! Not only did they run every test they could, they gave me everything I needed to feel comfortable and essentially pain-free. Dr. Farley explained to me exactly what he had found in the labs, CT scan, and then came up with a solution going forward. He also referred me to GI specialists in the area. I could not be more grateful. If you are looking for an urgent care or ER, look no further! You will be WELL taken care of

Stumbled upon this new and hidden gym while looking for an ER since I’m new to the Dallas-Frisco area. Dr. Frankum and his staff completely blew me away with how nice, genuine, and speedy their services were. This will now be my go to when I find myself in need of medical attention. No wait along with a caring and beyond professional staff, couldn’t have asked for more. Very nice and clean facility as well.

The personnel at TotalCare were outstanding. Greatest visit to ER I ever had. Can’t say enough good things about the care I received!

We came in for an emergency situation. We were told additional testing was going to be done. I was then called and told that the test wasn’t done and I would need to come in for additional bloodwork. I later found out that the physician had forgotten to check off that I needed the testing done. This testing was imperative to what I needed. I feel like this place isn’t very thorough, and the physicians that were on staff were careless with my paperwork. The management was helpful and apologetic, but I wanted to give warning.

A few weeks ago, I brought my husband here because he was having some trouble. He was seen by Dr. Frankum with RN Kisha. Dr. Frankum and the staff here were truly awesome! From getting him back quick and evaluating his trouble, explaining everything and just making sure we were both comfortable- Dr. Frankum and the staff here really went above and beyond. No one is ever excited to go to the ER- it's usually a very stressful situation but Dr. Frankum and the staff here really helped make this trip much less stressful. If you find yourself in a situation that you have to be seen or take someone to be seen- this is the place to go!

They are amazing. From the moment I arrived they quickly helped me and everyone was so nice and caring. You can trust that they will do what needs to be done to get you comfortable and better!

Best ER clinic in Frisco, Tx. We got to the ER late Sunday night after my son accidentally cut himself cleaning a knife. Everyone including Dr. Frankum were great, walked my son through the process, he needed stitches, which made it easier for him and myself (Mom).

Amazing staff helped my daughter with a dislocated elbow. And where really caring and helpful. Thank you

Dr. Franklin and his staff took excellent care of my husband. We were seen quickly and they listened to every concern. All test results were reviewed with us in great detail. They were all incredibly polite and professional. Would definitely recommend!
