I just love waking up in the morning to get ready with NO WATER for probably the 5th time this year. Why is the water always off. Then I’ll try to call tower and let them know but of course, no answer

Came in to get more information about leasing an apartment for the next school year. Maddie helped me out, very nice and informed! Apartments are beautiful, but service secured the deal for me!

My experience at Tower 5040 only continues to get worse. I have lived here for two years and at first everything was fine, but in the past 3 months it has turned into a complete nightmare. First, I returned to my car and all of the tires were taken off. Damages on my car totaled over $600 and management did nothing to help. Multiple other cars had the tires completely stolen. When I thought it couldn’t get any worse, my car was towed from MY OWN SPOT that I pay $50 per month to reserve. I was out of town for the weekend and when I returned I thought it was stolen. I had to pay over $400 to get it back. The management was pretty helpful and I was able to get a 50% refund, but the situation was absolutely RIDICULOUS and shouldn’t have existed in the first place. There are numerous other problems with the property including my air conditioning breaking frequently, leaks in the hallways, breaking elevators, trash everywhere, and bug invasions. 99% of the good reviews on here are fake. I live in the cheapest unit in this building, and still pay over $1000 per month in rent. This is the most expensive off campus housing around UH and is also the sketchiest and trashiest. Do not listen to the good reviews and don’t fall for this overpriced trashed building unless you have thousands of dollars laying around to repair your damaged property.

Love this property and the new manager! Thank you for making sure the halls are clean and elevators are working! We have seen a huge difference and will sign up again for the fall.

I have LOVED my time living here at Tower5040. The office staff is beyond helpful as they’re both attentive and eager to answer all questions that us residents have. Furthermore, they are patient as for most of us this is our first time living away from our parents house and therefore may stop by the office to ask a few “dumb” questions.

Big shout out to Maddie also as she has aided me through many work orders & even helped me get a new parking spot for this leasing period since I drive a ginormous tonka truck.

No one but a machine answers the phone on a working day, been calling for almost an hour now.

5 months after my son left this apartment complex, a $50 was withdrawn by them from my bank account without any notification. No explanation of charges, no bill, email, text or anything. They just authorized themselves to take money from my account.

All the good reviews are bc the office gives out gift cards but its a horrible place to live from roaches, trash sitting in halls for weeks, broken elevators, and car break ins and stolen wheels.out of hand fr lol

This place is horrible. I walked outside and my tire was gone! This place is not secure at all, anyone can come in. There is no security for college students, now I am short a tire. That’s just the beginning of it, Elevators take decades to come, stair cases are filled with trash, and you better hope you don’t stay on the top floors, it’s hot as hell up there. DO NOT RENT HERE! They charge so much for nothing.

If I wanted to give a zero star review I would. Water shut off, elevators not working, security never there, tires get stolen. I could go on and on

Pretty disappointing the management could not fix our AC that was out for 5 days in the middle of the summer! Additionally, security at this complex was lax, guest parking rules were overly strict, and management posts fake reviews to bolster its rating!

Do not sign a lease for your child to live here. It is not safe. This happened to my daughter's car this weekend in their "secure" parking garage. I can't imagine my daughter coming out to her car when this was happening. There is nobody on call to help during the weekends. There should somebody available at a complex geared for college campus students.

Very clean apartment complex! They take care of things if you have a problem with amenities! I would recommend living here.

Best student living near Campus, very clean and no mold unlike Campus Vue. Staff is very friendly and the amenities are nice.

All the good reviews are because the front desk offered people gift cards if they left a good review after all the residents left bad reviews because the water was out for days and no one had come to fix it for hours. I live here and pay about 1500 a month for a two bedroom in the ghetto, homeless people have gotten in our building bc there’s no security, the elevator is always broken, people are currently getting into the garage and stealing tires off peoples cars, water outages, the two younger maintenance people are out of work amazon drivers probably, with duct tape.the front desk staff takes off for religious holidays for religions they are not apart of because they’re lazy and don’t want to work, the emergency maintenance crew does not respond no matter what the issue is they will not show up and packages get stolen.

Maddie is absolutely great. She is so sweet and always accommodates the residents with anything in need!

I moved here in August of 2023. For the price, this place is beyond horrible. Trash everywhere, gates have been broken the entire time resulting in my car being broken into twice, as well as my friends. Also, last night someone’s wheels got stolen. We recently lost power & water for 24 hours. Wifi constantly having issues, security guard sleeps at night in the office. Last week we had a homeless man walking around with his pants down trying people’s doors with his pants down. This apartment is not safe at all nor is it worth the money, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I’m not one to complain but this is just horrendous.
