Sadly one of the nicest hotels in Eagle Pass and yet their elevator has been out of service for most of the year. It’s August! This totally sucks when you have luggage at check in, although they will help you which is nice. Honestly I feel terrible for the housekeeping staff. How are they supposed to get vacuums, bedding, cleaning supplies up to the 3rd, 4th floors etc? These are inhumane working conditions and inconvenient for guests as well. There is no date for the elevator to get fixed. Completely unacceptable.

Being a lifetime Marriott gold member, I stay at a marriott at least 50 nights a year and have been around my share of hotels. This one is decent considering it’s in a border town, but the fact that this hotel price gouges these rooms so terribly is absolutely unacceptable. $775 for a room the night of 7/10/23 when the same room was $280 a few weeks prior is ridiculous. This is highway robbery and I’ll absolutely not stay here again. I’m sure they’re only trying to take advantage of folks coming to the US and can’t stay in Uvalde or San Antonio.

On top of that, both rooms I stayed in had ac issues. The first one wasn’t cooling so I was moved to another one in which the drain on the ac was leaking onto the floor so the carpet 10-15’ from the ac was soaking wet to the point it made a squishy sound when walking on it. For $775 a night I’d expect it to be on top tier shape. I’ve stayed in autograph collection hotels 10x nice than this place for half the price. Idk what Marriott is doing here but they’re getting it wrong.

To top it off, no decent restaurants around at all.

Only plus side to this hotel is the staff is very friendly.

The rooms were clean, and the bed was so comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Every time we come to Eagle Pass. It's our hotel! Always clean, comfortable. Thank you Sonia for your excellent lunch and thank you Elva for your attention.
See you on the next trip if God allows it.

Clean and polite staff. Water pressure was weak and made worse by a defective lower bathtub spout but I like my stay and would happily return

The hotel is nice the rooms are in great shape. But the breakfast you get in the morning is very undesirable because who has breakfast with no fried eggs, or Waffles/pancakes?

They offer everything you could imagine for oatmeal! But the only eggs you get with free breakfast are hardboiled eggs and microwave bacon. No tortillas No pancakes / Waffles but yet they serve you pancakes Syrup and butter. They really should be worried more about the breakfast and less about the federal government guest that stays in their hotel.
