TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Antonio Airport

This is a great hotel!
I travel to San Antonio on a regular basis and am always looking for a quiet, clean and safe place to stay. This hotel does it all, I never heard a peep from my neighbors, daily room service and no rif raf loitering about. The H2 hotel up the street doesn’t even come close

It has amazing food and also big rooms that hold up to six people. Not spendy for the great service. They give you a sign and if you put it on your door they will not come in your room to clean. There is a bed king size and a couch bed. Also it comes with kitchen supplies so you won't have to go out and buy a whole bunch of like spoons and forks and knives, and a big fridge.

The people that work at Towneplace are great. BUT, the beds were very uncomfortable and it takes forever to get hot water in the shower. Just a heads up.

This place has the BEST staff and the manager is so nice! I was here for a few months for a training activity and they were very accommodating. The rooms are about the same as other hotels, but the folks that work here really make all the difference. It's clean and quiet, the rooms have a full fridge and a little stove, and there are some small appliances and a grill you can use. They even had a cute little gift for my dog that traveled with me! I would definitely pick this hotel again!

Old hotel and it shows, the access from the road is terrible. The rooms are way too small, the ice machine didn't work, breakfast was meager, and service was so-so. It is close to the airport and easy to get downtown with the freeway right there, but there are better options.

Very clean, staff was friendly and room was spacious. This was our first time here and we enjoyed our stay. Basic wifi is included. Upgraded wifi available for $4.99 or free for select bonboy members (based on status). Complimentary water if you ask but not provided in the room. Small snack shop available and breakfast was included but was from 6-9 am and WAY to early for me. Lol Wish it was later at least for the weekend. Location was 30 min from Schlitterbahn and close to the airport. There is a quarry market near by that has restaurants, shopping and a movie theater. We will be back.

The location is absolutely convenient, right at the junction of 410 and 281 with plenty of restaurants and shopping around. The staff are very kind and courteous, the pool is clean and there's a grill outside that you can use. Overall a comfortable place to stay for a long work trip. Heads up: like any other place in Texas in the summer, San Antonio can have lots of bugs. There were several small roaches or beetles and other bugs in and around the kitchen area within the first few days I was here, but I haven't seen them since then. Keep your food in the fridge instead of on the counter or in cabinets, and you should be fine.

I'm a frequent Marriott traveler. I probably stay 30+ nights at Marriott a year. I made a reservation at this particular Marriott 4 days in advance of my travel. The day before my travel I needed to switch hotels to stay in a different part of town. I was switching to ANOTHER Marriott. The hotel management at this Towneplace Suites had the ability to override their cancellation policy but refused to do so. They definitely don't take care of their loyalty customers. I have had to make last minute changes many times over the years and never had someone be so inflexible in their policy. Avoid this hotel if you possibly can. There are lots of others in the area.

Frequent this hotel when I have business near the airport. Convenient to the airport, Interstate, and lots of food options nearby.

Friendly staff - booked last minute and they were very accommodating. I requested a crib, but was told there were only 4, which seems odd - should probably get more to accommodate more travelers.
It was off the highway, so very convenient. Breakfast was pretty good.

Location is great. Close to the airport. King size bed is really comfortable with a nice large room. T. V.is in a bad spot. Great place to stay overall.

A fabilous place. Great staff, accomodations, and a location. I am Marriott Platinum. Strongly recommend. 5 minutes to the airport.

I stayed here over the weekend for a notary conference recently. I liked that they have a shuttle/van that picks up guests from the airport and takes them to the property. You must call and request the ride. It was the manager who checked me in and it was a very fast and smooth process. He told me everything I needed and wanted to know about the room so I didn't have to ask questions. Conference organizers held a Meet & Greet in the lobby area and it was great. The set up and take down was handled perfectly. My guest room was clean and comfortable. The HVAC unit in the room performed satisfactorily. I also enjoyed having a full-size refrigerator and microwave in the room. Thanks to the team at TownPlace for making it an enjoyable stay.

We had a cancelled flight, they were quick to grab us from the airport and they had a room ready for us.
The room was clean and modern, the towels were white and clean, the bed was comfortable with a ton of pillows. Once again, LOVE Marriott!
