Toyota financial is so helpful they go above and beyond for their customers and I will only use them for my car needs!

Does not respond to support requests within their SLA of 3-5 business days.

Also can't manage to apply a VSA cancellation check from Toyota Extra Care. It was sent to them 3+ weeks ago. I requested the refund at my local dealership 6+ weeks ago. Agents on the phone simply tell me it takes a while.

Meanwhile, I've been driving a nearly-totalled 6 month old vehicle for almost 2 months because Toyota doesn't have any parts for it.

Which is to say nothing of the local dealerships. The first one I bought from is grossly incompetent and lied to me about vehicle features, then installed the worst aftermarket parts I've ever seen to try to make it up to me. They eventually bought the car back from me but I lost $2k in taxes and held my warranty refund for more than a month.

The second dealership is just ridiculously slow and does not respond to messages.

With TFS being the third strike, I don't think I'll ever buy a new Toyota again.

Guy I spoke to was TERRIBLE! I was trying to discuss negotiating my interest rate before I did a refinance with another bank. The gentleman said “we cannot refinance your loan” I then explained again I was not looking for a refinance rather a rate negotiation so I didn’t have to refinance the loan and he explained they could not refinance my auto loan that I currently have with them. He didn’t even listen to what I was asking for. I’ll just refinance with someone who will actually try to understand what their customer is asking for.

Toyota financial services has a great customer service. But trying to rob me off my money. I am leasing my Toyota Camry from them. I pay my bill every month on time. Now I received extra $702.13 and when I asked them, what is that for they said it was for property tax. Never heard Paying property tax on my car. I called them so many times everybody I talk to is really nice but they’re not giving me exact answer. They told me they paid property tax to Travis county and when I moved to Hayes county, they paid another property tax, which is added to that $702.13. All I need is a receipt where that they paid in order for me to pay That money that is due. And they’re not sending me any proof of them paying what they said they pay. I asked them for email paper. Nothing my money is due today. And I don’t have a waste on paying because I don’t have a receipt from them. Today is their last day and I’m getting A lawyer.

Just terrible. Took an eon to process my paperwork, lost my first check, didn’t even put the right person on the bill of sale. All of this over the span of 4 months! My registration expired in the time it took

Huribal customer service and bad attitude
Watching to charging fees and they do not listen to you.
You asked questions about why you charged me this fee they can't answer. Start arguing with you.

Was approved for a 2 month payment deferment all i needed to do was make a partial payment over the phone so i gave the guy my debit card number. I was called 2 weeks later asking about my payment. Explained I was on deferment they said they saw it and that everything was fine. A month goes by now they are saying the guy who took my payment didn't make it for enough money. So the deferment are not active i am now 45 days lat on my payments and $900 behind. After speaking with dozens of reps on the phone they are not willing to see that it was their mistake. Going as far as to say I never sent the proper paperwork back. But it was sent the same week it was emailed to me. Also the first 10 people I spoke to never mentioned the lost paperwork.

Down right shady business. They took two payments in one month and told me they couldn't issue a refund for 10 days.ended up calling back multiple times been 3 weeks still no refund received.my account shows correct as just one payment. They said they mailed the refund in the form of a check and refused to give me a statement stating that or any proof that its on its way.still waiting next payment is due in 6 days.what world class service.

This business/building is huge. We thought we were in the main lobby but they actually have 4 lobbies. The building looked new and well kept and every person /employee we met was over-the-top nice. We received a small tour and, I have to admit, it would be great to work there. They have everything available to them. It felt like walking through a mall. There were different places to get food, snacks, drinks and supplies. They had a wellness center with huge gym, climbing rock wall and so much more. You never need to leave work during the day for anything. Totally amazing.

So far I’ve had a horrible experience with Toyota Financial. My car was totaled in hailstorm and it’s been over a month since extended warranty company issued a check to Toyota Financial for the mileage/time I won’t be using it and they still haven’t applied it to my account. I’ve spoke with 5-6 different people in their total loss department and every single one of them tells me a different thing. I didn’t expect this level of incompetence and unprofessional behavior from Toyota. Communicating with them reminded me of some sketchy debt collectors I’ve dealt with in the past. Their employees however do a good job deflecting and not accepting any responsibility for any Toyota Financial shortcomings.

My husband called on Monday to get a payment deferred for the month of June due to myself (wife) losing my job and Toyota emailed my husband documents to be signed and sent back, well we called to make sure we where all good on sending the email document back to them and we find out the email wasn’t the right document for us to sign, luckily we got this nice lady name Eva B55WBJ she went above and beyond to make sure we got the right document emailed to us, stayed on the phone made sure we had received the email, sign the document, sent it back and she had received it. Eva B55WBJ thank you for your help and your patience.

Stay away with them! They can’t give me the quote amount they did, so I have to pay more interest? Just pay everything in full, they rip out your money.

Update: waiting on them refunds me for the GAP insurance. But the dealer, lender or insurance all said they don’t in charge with the refund. 850 dollars, no one give me any information after 2 month cancellation!

I have been requesting for an affidavit letter for a 2008 Toyota Camry for over two months. The last time I called (7 days ago) the representative advise me that it was been sent that next day. Till this day I have not received nothing.

Unhelpful. Paid on time. Car a total loss. They send me letter saying no longer have to pay. They gave my personal info to a 3rd party to negotiate pennies more from insurance company when I have gap. They refuse to respond to dashboard questions. The offices do not communicate with each other. Total loss said no more payments and the customer service said I'm now behind and wants to harm my credit. They keep dragging their feet to make me have to pay more since I'm not getting anywhere with the necessary documents to get a GAP claim paid. Insurance sent a check and they haven't credited my account after a week and refusing to provide documents to give GAP company to pay the difference. Customer service will rotate you around and no one can answer questions. Filing with the OCCC if they do not provide the documents and going to continue to file with everyone. I paid for GAP and they know what documents I need to get the claim paid. They say insurance and insurance says them. I got in the middle and got all documents both claimed they didn't get from the other now it is back to TFS who is not putting the insurance payment on my account and giving documents to get GAP to pay claim.
