After they serviced my vehicle I left the shop headed to the Interstate towards my destination and saw that my hood moving up and down in the middle of the freeway with a big 18 wheeler behind me, I got really scared because the hood wanted to lift UP so I pulled over as I could so I called Toyota and told them what was happening and they said SORRY we probably left your hood open. My life was in danger if I hadn't stop driving who knows I might not be here today and I NEVER got a call from Service Director Steve for an apology nor anyone else Toyota Service Department don't care about the people please check your vehicles before you leave that place and Good Luck with them!

Buyer beware! This place is out to bleed you dry. I wanted a 2022 Sienna, they quoted me 43,500 on a van with a 33,500 MSRP. Remember MSRP allows them to still make profit! So they added a 30% markup on top! That’s insane. Don’t let them tell you it’s a supply issue. It’s a dealership issue. Don’t put up with it, go elsewhere. I called a different brand and over the phone was given a fair price with NO cost over MSRP. Do your homework. This place is built on deceit.

Coming from a Toyota customer,
The part replaced was not was discussed in person and they never had permission to change that part didn't notice until getting the bill, was also price gouged. Will never bring vehicle back here. They must think their customers are incompetent.

Pol and Ramon were my salesperson and I have to say they did an amazing job helping me get my first car a 2018 Toyota Corolla, they were super helpful and answered all my questions when needed. Thank you guys much love ️

Don McGill service department is awesome! I called in to have my windshield replaced, they had it instock, set my appointment, lifted me to and from in minutes as needed, and had my vehicle ready an hour before promised on a Friday! Hats off to Everyone!

Visited the collision center today for an estimate. John was very helpful and made my day as the damage was minimal and easily corrected with his knowledge. This is the 3rd time I have used the collision center over several years and every time the staff has been friendly, helpful and professional. The honesty and customer service attitude is why we continue to use the services here.

Since we got our Prius Prime all services have been done at Toyota of Katy. The service department is wonderful, and K Sea, our service manager is the best! I never dread when the service light comes on, as I know that whatever needs to be done will be done quickly and well. I highly recommend the service at Toyota of Katy.

Exceptional Customer Service by Mr. K SEA PICOTT. He has 20 years of experience and knows Toyota and Lexus as NASCAR PRO. Would you please see him? Mr. K SEA assist you with his expertise and kindness, due to our budget and our Financial situation he has given us a discount now that’s what a great example of customer service, and I hope all other dealerships need to visit this location to find out why are they ranked #1 in the USA

Also, I was very impressed by his body language and his communication skills to make a person of color feel very comfortable and believe what he is trying to help the customer with. He is an example of what is true cultural diversity in action means ️ I will request the Toyota leadership to please use his experience and let every single service manager and employee shadow him to understand what it takes to win the heart of a customer.

My car was in for a recall for a part. They had a rental car waiting for me, repair and maintenance was done in one day. They moved me through the process quick and easy with zero wait time. I bought my car here, have had it service there every time, and I have always had great experiences. Highly recommend Don McGill Toyota Katy!

Recent Experience:
1. Finance Manage Mr. Don Pollard- how nicely he treats the customers and buyers, if you don't meet him on your need- you will not experience that. I am really really grateful to Mr. Don Pollard. Just two days before I again got him at my second time purchase of brand new Toyota Tacoma. He is so helpful and kind that he gave me lots of time to activate my security system on my second car Tacoma. But 4 years ago I had very bad experience- when I requested to help me to activate security system on my brand new Toyota Camry. Which Assistant Finance Manager (Name I forgot) assured me to come to him for helping me to activate Apex Security system on my car- that same Assistant Finance Manager refused me to help me to activate security system on my car when I met him after 4 days. In this case how kind and helpful Mr. Don- I cannot describe. Just I can say- thank you Mr. Don Pollard, Finance Manager.

2. *** Sales Person?

3. Mr. Clint Rice- my every time favourite Assistant Service Manager- last five years I am getting best, 5 star service from him, not only me- but also every customer. If I don’t get him in Service Department on his off day- I return home with my car. Because I trust him hundred percent. I follow his advice about my car perfectly. Because he never lied or showed any deceptive trade attitude on his car service time.

I appreciated all of those best person and very nice and good Owner of Toyota of Katy. Its my five years experience as customer.

Came in at 8: 30am for an oil change and tire rotation. It is past 12 noon and car is not yet ready. The only explanation they give me is that they are overbooked. Then why did you accept my appointment. Never coming back here.

I was greeted shortly after I got there (I was early for my appointment) then at the exact time of my appointment they checked me in, I only waited about 15- 20 minutes in the lobby when I got the text message that my car service was done. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Darren is very courteous and helpful in addressing the issue with the tires. Also had a chance to talk to the technician (… sorry I did capture the name) who explained the solutions very well. Great service! I am very pleased.

I went to this dealership on a Saturday looking to buy a 4Runner and trade in a vehicle. First thing they try to add things and tell you it’s already on the vehicle like a gps tracker which they charge you almost 2k extra for and I don’t want that. Next I had to leave to pick up my daughter I asked for my keys so I could leave and I asked 7 times before getting my keys back, felt like I was being kidnapped or held hostage. So I really wanted the 4Runner and I contacted them about coming back the following Saturday and on Friday they tell me it’s still available. So I go back Saturday to make the purchase and I wait around for 30 minutes for them to tell me it’s was sold. This place was very shady. On my first Saturday going when asking for my keys one of the times the sales manager was very rude because I needed to leave. Also in the back ground I hear them saying “don’t let him leave! ”. Wow what a scam of a dealership. I will never be going back to this dealership again and I recommend that no one use this place to buy a vehicle.

I just want to share my MASSIVE experience in Toyota Katy, I went to do an Oil change and tire rotation on my truck on 10/26/2021 and I arrived at approximately 12: 45 I sat patiently to wait for my service, the hours passed and I left All the people of the place except us, my husband asked the person who attended us (Henry Vargas) 3 times and he said that he was not ready that we should wait, that they were going to call us and that never happened. Almost at 4pm, completely desperate to leave, my husband asks this man again who was playing with his computer and with his classmates and he himself tells him that he was ready for a long time, excuse me that he missed what was his mistake.
So I wonder our time is not worth it? This bad time is not fair, we leave with a headache and a lot of anger, we are paying a service and we only deserve a good deal, I bought my truck in this place and I always do an oil change there, but this time they played with our time and with our patience we will not return. It was a Terrible Service!

Solo quiero compartir mi PÉSIMA experiencia en Toyota Katy, fui hacerle cambio de Aceite y rotación de llantas a mi camioneta el 10/26/2021 y llegue a las 12: 45 aproximadamente me senté con paciencia a esperar mi servicio, pasaban las horas y salía toda la gente del lugar menos nosotros, mi esposo le pregunto a la persona que nos atendió (Henry Vargas) en 3 oportunidades y el decía que no estaba listo que debíamos esperar, que nos iban a llamar y eso nunca pasó. Ya casi a las 4pm completamente desesperados por irnos, mi esposo le pregunta de nuevo a este señor que estaba jugando con su computadora y con sus compañeros y el mismo le dice que hace bastante rato estaba lista que disculpe que a él se le pasó que fue su error.
Entonces me pregunto nuestro tiempo no vale? No es justo este mal rato, salimos con dolor de cabeza y con mucha rabia, estamos pagando un servicio y sólo merecemos un buen trato, yo compre mi camioneta en este lugar y siempre le hago cambio de aceite allí, pero esta vez se pasaron jugaron con nuestro tiempo y con nuestra paciencia ya no volveremos. Fue un Pésimo Servicio!

I went in to have a headlight bulb replaced and seeing that I had both replaced at the same time the last time I want both replaced. I was told later they could only replace one due to the shortage problem that we are all experiencing. I had the one that was out replaced. I mentioned it to the parts department that I only was able to get one replaced due to the shortage. A very nice lady heard me talking about this and called me later that day, telling me she was able to locate one more in Houston and if I wanted I could stop back by and they would install it for. The appointment was set and now I have two new headlights. Keep in mind I did not ask her to do this, she took that upon herself. There are not many like her in today's market that will go out of the way to help. Congrats to her.

Just came back from service. I got there at 1: 30 pm and stop at one of the lanes. A guy came and marked up, with a number, my car to be checked by a service specialist. The service specialist came but not to me or even for the guy in front of me with a lower number. He checked in a car that actually came after us with a higher number. What a mess. Ive been a client for a very long time and I understand that it is not easy to manage the amount of cars but it is the first time it happened to me. I raised my complain to the guy that marked up my car and he appologiesed but nothing happend 5 minutes later so I decided to leave. I will try being there at 6 am. Disapointed

I have been a Don McGill customer for over twenty years and their customer service is second to none. What hooked me to this dealership is their top rated service department. Friendly, courteous, and top notch. Np problems, games, or gimmicks just excellent service beyond my expectations.

Even if we don't make an appointment it goes very smoothly. We go for oil change and tire rotation. This time we had 30k check. They also informed us of a recall so we had them also take care of that.
