18I have been to this location twice and have always used dealerships for routine service. However, I would not recommend this location. The staff are definitely friendly but both times, two different staff members tried to add on a ridiculous amount of services. The most recent time the total was $1038 in recommended services. Mechanic shops have always had this reputation but I have never experienced it to such a degree. They are always busy as well so appointment times don’t necessarily mean much.
Friendly service, but I don't know how fast they fix the car's because I just go to work and drop the car off
Oil change cost me $300 and they made it sound like I was getting the cheaper tier with a complementary “safety inspection” and additive
Went in for a 10k mile maintenance. Thank you for remembering to offer additional $$ services like oil conditioner and whatever additives that will make my car last longer. NO THANKS for NOT remembering to check out my torn skid plate.
10/15/21, i came in to get an oil change at 20 k miles on my 2021 tundra I noticed it was leaking oil and it looked like a came from a cylinder shaped object i looked up what it could be and apparently 2021 tundra has a almost cardboard looking filter in that housing.so I figured that this was an issue with the filter maybe not properly tightened or it was over tightened since its in a housing. I brought it in and $150 dollars that i was charged for them to check and fix the leak i had to pay for them to replace it because toyota richardson tightened it too much which then caused it to leak. Beth Anne never mentioned i would have to pay for the mistake the mechanics did. She only told me my total was 120 something for the alignment which by the way is way worse now i have to bring it in so they can fix it it's noticeably pulling to the left, whenever i put the steering wheel straight center it pulls a hard left. Im really disappointed. 10/18/21 my alignment is fine now after the second visit im never coming back to this dealership for service theres no need to have to be coming back every visit you make because they cant get things right the 1st time.by the way don’t bother getting an alignment here You wont get a warranty oh but they’ll tell you “my guys are the best at it” yeah right lol just go to pep boys or firestone

Today I came for routine maintenance for my 4runner (40,000 miles) I met Muhammad Zafar Vakan, He told me the price of my car was $585. And waited here about three hours. I have an appointment from 12: 00pm, but wait until 4: 00pm to get my car and the price I have to pay is $665. I asked why the staff said to add tax. Yes I accept paying taxes. But what do you think about $585 if you add tax? I am very unhappy for this. I've been here so many times for my family's three cars. But I haven't had any disappointment as this employee brought me.
I bought my Rav4 from this dealership from Teddy Luu in 2018 for a great price! Even their competitors that I visited were shocked. Teddy was very easy to work with (I recommend him if you need to buy a car).
I have been using Toyota of Richardson service department since then and to be honest I have not always had the greatest experiences with other service agents and always walked out feeling like I needed to find another place to get my car services done. However, I just went yesterday and worked with a new agent named Oliver Villa (I think he just started, I've never seen him before) who was easy to work with, very respectful, trustworthy, and seemed to be genuine. Although my car had to be taken over night I didn't mind it as much as I would have with previous agents I had worked with, because the service he provided was such a big improvement from previous visits. If you have to go to get your car fixed here, I definitely recommend asking for him! I'm only giving 4 stars because of past experiences/agents I have worked with.
Also, Scott the manager here was very helpful, I have worked with him in the past and have enjoyed my experiences with him as well. Never would I ever in the past think about writing a review for a car shop as they usually always try to take advantage of me, but Oliver by far has been the one of the best agents to work with from any car shop I've been to, so I felt the need to write this.
Horrible, they always say a 2 hour wait even with appointments.paint chips on car are because I use the highway.too many excuses for my taste
The gentleman named Greg Cash helped honor a deal that a sale lady offered verbally. He was able to explain the process and obtained email confirmation from the sale lady very patiently instead of not trusting me and kicking me out. Good job, Greg! Thank you!
Lady in the front door is not helping. Just trying to what she wants. I asked for something and she just answered with something else
I declined the wheel alignment on scheduled service. With about 15,000 miles and 3 years, it always held the road like a tank. After the service, the next time I was on a highway at speed, I had to constantly adjust the steering wheel. In addition, the HUD had went blank at certain sun angles, something else that I had never experienced before.
Great experience every time I take my toyota for maintenance. Justin Ryan is always very professional and informative about all the details.
So, I get this email, see attached, offering a free oil change and tire rotation even though I bought it a year old at another dealer. The service guy with an initial Z took me to his desk after the car had the mat and the service tag. Fortunately, they did not take it back yet, because they would not do the free oil change, because Z claimed it was a fleet vehicle. I asked while why did I get an email for, if you aren't going to honor what the email says. Word to the wise, make them verify specials before you sign.
I had very bad experience here for my A/C repair.
My A/C does not work properly, it gets cold very slowly and the temp is not low enough, which means it did work but just not work perfectly. After more than 3 hours waiting, they just simply printed out the problem that I need to change 3 big parts! However, I have friend working in an auto repair shop. They said the check up report looks unprofessional. So I called them and was told that the manager will call me back but they didn't. My friend checked up two of three parts and found that they were just small problem which didn't need to change the whole parts. They helped me to changed the third parts that they cannot check up. But my A/C didn't get fixed but worse. It took loner time to get cold! Fortunately, my friends estimated the main problem by their experience and changed a small parts. Now my A/C works! I doubt if the thirds part that the Toyota dealer suggested to change are really bad. Probably it's okay, and it just the problem of the small part.
Toyota of Richardson just lost 2 customers today. I made an appointment for 11: 30, showed up 20 min early and was told that it will be 1 1/2 hours before the can get to my truck by an extremely unprofessional girl that greeted me.in the drive. She then asked what I was there for, I explained there is a TSB for my truck and why my truck needs it. I also made it clear I was a Toyota service advisor not long ago and this what I need. She responded it will be $160.00 diagnostic fee. There is no diagnosis needed I said, it's a simple reflash of the computer. NO WAY! I said no thanks and she asked if I want to reschedule, what's the point of making an appointment if you have to wait for hours? I responded I will never come back to this dealership again, she said ok and immediately walked off. WOW! Both my fiance' and myself bought new vehicles from there, we will take our business elsewhere next time.
I believe in giving benefit of doubt to people and know that human errors do occur but how can it happen every single time? My major concern is that staff does not follow up on their commitment.
Service department should be all about providing good service and getting job done but unfortunately it has been a waste of my time and money at this location.
