She has incredible insights into music and the world, and she would be a perfect teacher for children, teens, or adults who want to discover new ways of being a pianist and a musician. She has a great capacity to find joy in what she does, and she imparts this to her students.

My preference has been to always have music be a personal expression that they master at their own pace; not a pressurized set of drills to master in some artificial timeline. Anneke has accommodated this by allowing some time during lessons to discuss, laugh and share things (mostly music-related) that they are interested in; which has fostered a great relationship between them. To me, the student/teacher relationship is the fundamental aspect of learning; Anneke easily clears that bar with her friendly, energetic and observant characteristics. Besides all that, Anneke clearly know her stuff; not just classical piano and theory, but music theory in pop/jazz idioms as well.

David did a great job tuning my my grandmother's 1968 Kawaii piano and also fixed some intermittent sticky keys. He is very knowledgeable on pianos as well as music. Very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend!

Anyway, after the first lesson with Chrissie I knew she was the one for our girl. She makes our daughter feel so welcome, and speaks to her with a genuine interest in the kid stuff she loves to blab about. All of the vocal exercises that have been introduced have already helped my daughter's range. One of the things we're most excited with is the introduction of stage presence and acting. Our daughter really loves the idea of it, and she's inspired to try out a few musical theater camps this summer. We're so thankful to have found Chrissie and her studio! Such a wonderful experience so far.

Jess has been more than extraordinary in my vocal endeavors. I've worked with many vocal coaches in the past, and none of them can even compare to working with Jess. I came to Jess looking for a vocal coach who would really see ME, not just the voice. It's a personal exploration of voice and self every session. Jess opened me up into places with my vocals I've only ever dreamed of, but were too scared/unsure of to try. Incredibly, they've gone above and beyond by coordinating opportunities for me (as well as other clients) to perform at professional venues like The Bitter End, as well as supporting my songwriting and producing. I've recommended Jess to several of my own clients looking to work on their voice. 10/10 heavily recommend working with Jess.

This is an excellent music school. My daughter has grown so much in the last 9 months, since she started taking piano, music theory and voice. Alin and Natalia are both fantastic musicians themselves; they take the education of their students very seriously, and also bring joy and passion to their teaching. They also walk the walk - at the last recital they both participated - it was exciting to hear, and was helpful to see what is possible.

The information was presented in a crystal clear fashion, it was easy to understand and retain, and it became instantly clear to me that a TREMENDOUS amount of time and thought had been put into his lesson plans, and they were structured in a way that was absolutely intentional in helping a beginner learn in the easiest and fastest way possible.

Lessons here are pretty much the highlight of my week. Walking through the front garden and hearing piano from one window, opera from another.perhaps a note or two of trumpet or guitar floating through the air- it really does lift your spirits. I am way old to be a beginning violin player, but I have no shame here.

I've been taking lessons with Jason for about 8 months and he is great teacher and gets straight to the point, learning fun songs! I was so happy to know a song after just a lesson or two that it kept me coming back.

In that short amount of time, not only has he learned how to play a musical instrument very well, but his self-confidence has gone through the roof. He has had the opportunity to perform live with some amazingly talented young people. The teachers are enthusiastic and center their instruction around each individual child's likes. They are committed and caring ; and the children reap the rewards of that kind of dedication. We are so happy we found this place!
