4 I was shocked at the arrogant, rude, and threatening remarks from a cashier wearing his Army cap this Sunday afternoon, Oct 8th.
I asked about the cap, and he mentioned that he had served. I thanked him for his service.
My good friend for over 20 years, who is a retired Army officer, has shared many witty clean cliches with me regarding Army life. As he was a fellow Army member, I thought he may enjoy one. I shared one, making sure to note it was from my Army friend.
Apparently, this was acceptable coming from a service member, but not from the lips of what this cashier termed as "a citizen". His belittling threats began.
To diffuse the unanticipated rant, I mentioned that I respected and appreciated all branches and service members and walked away.
However, looking back, this was not a good customer service person and is detrimental rather than an asset to this fine store.
On all previous occasions, it was a pleasure to shop here.
But being threatened and berated is not acceptable.
Nice big store very friendly and helpful employees lots to see and choose from

After a bad customer experience at TSC Port Lavaca, it took one phone call for manager Emily (TSC Goliad) to resolve the issue. Thank you so much for your prompt and excellent customer service. All of your staff was welcoming and friendly, it was a pleasure to shop at the Goliad location!
