Don't go here. New management just wants to bill insurance.
I was still waiting for my prescription to be approved when I gave up.
Timely appointments are not possible. No walk ins for emergency care.
Appoints are 4-7 days later. Ouch, I need a clinic that can treat me.
I found one, Medi Care Clinics on Scripture Street. They are family oriented. Opposite of this place.

They really were a great help. Dr. Helsten is outstanding.

He is doing the job he was meant to do!

Literally the worst experience I’ve had with the medical industry. 1. They billed me twice the amount I owed. 2. They sent the bill to the wrong address two hours away when I gave them a specific billing address - a HUGE no no in the medical industry. HIPPA violation, and what if I never had the bill forwarded to me?

Billing department does not answer the phone, the front office knows this but will transfer you anyway as if they will answer. They tell me “oh she’s really good at returning calls. ” Oh really? I left two voicemails with a callback number and over a month later - no callback so I had to come in person, where the billing woman INSTANTLY answered the front desk’s call (when I’d called five minutes prior). That just shows they purposely screen calls so you’ll get frustrated and just pay the incorrect bill. They did acknowledge the incorrect bill, but if I hadn’t come in person and just paid, not understanding what I truly owed I would’ve just been out extra money. A lot of people aren’t willing to or know that they can question their bill (especially college students my age), so this lack of transparency is a huge disservice to patients.

Also, they charged me for a mental health referral but the doctor they referred me to literally NEVER answered their phone when I called many times to schedule an appointment. So, I paid for absolutely nothing. Also, mental health issues aren’t something you can just put off.

The doctor has horrible bedside manner. He prescribed me medication that caused me to lose 10 pounds in 3 months - and caused me to continue to lose more weight even after I chose not to take it anymore. When I told him about this, he condescendingly said “Well you don’t have to take it. ”

I get people make mistakes but this is healthcare. I pay good money into my insurance, and I get I am not the only patient they have but at the end of the day it is the healthcare industry. “Little” mistakes like sending my bill to the wrong address could have resulted in me never finding the bill and getting bad marks on my credit. It also could have resulted in some pretty unfortunate personal problems and consequences for me - which is why I provided a specific billing address.

Awful, awful, awful experience. Only good thing about this office are the younger women who work there. They are super sweet, but everyone else is an example of why people are terrified or put off by doctors.

I have an awesome experience at TREND Healthcare. I was listened to and treat like a family. Temitayo Olotewo, FNP-C is the best in what she is doing, I advise anyone to look for her and she will definitely take good care of you. The staffs are awesome too. This is a very welcoming family care, you will never be disappointed.

March2021: I needed to reschedule an appointment for a different time and was promptly given a more suitable time. Upon arrival at the facility, I completed the requirements and was ushered to the exam room within a few minutes of my appointment time with very little waiting. The technician was friendly and professional during the initial exam. I wasn't kept waiting long until the provider came into the room. She completed my follow up exam and I was soon out front to confirm my next appointment.
Sep2020: 5: I have used this location for several years now and I have found that the medical personnel are professional and friendly. I have most recently been seen by a NP provider, Temitayo, who is very professional and attentive. This location is very convenient from my home especially since the roadway had been finished nearby. The facility has a physical therapy unit attached adjacent to the medical center.
Aug 2017: 4: I have used this location on multiple occasions to treat my work injuries related to my federal government job. Dr Crutchfield is very personable and is the type of doc that remembered me time after time through out each visit at the facility.

We have been going to Wolmed for 20 years, now it has changed to Trend medical, we are not happy with the services or the office personnel, the only 2 I will give a 5 star too are the 2 female nurses with dark hair that have worked there for years. I will also give dr Helsten 5 star but we never get to see him anymore. As for the office management of trend 1 star, the female nurse practitioner is nice and friendly, but to much has changed, we will be looking for a different primary care physician, pretty sad after 20 years!

Staff was very friendly! Dr. Helsten took his time to listen and look over all the circumstances that lead me to Trend for treatment.
Looking forward to starting physical therapy.

I have been a patient for almost 2 years now. From day 1, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) has been polite, professional and very pleasant to be around. I believe I've had sessions with every PT. It would be hard to pick my favorite because they are all so great.
Mostly, I am very thankful for Dr. Tayo and Dr. Hernandez. Their recommendation/demand (lol) literally saved my life.
They both (all) continue to show me that they really do have what is in my best interest at heart. 100%.
For that, I will trust them completely during my recovery.physically and mentally.

I was taken back to a room promptly. Natalie was friendly and professional. Dr. Helsten listened to me when I summarized my symptoms and he asked me questions so I could elaborate. He then suggested a medication that would work for me and even checked Good RX to see if it was affordable for me since I don't have insurance. Fernanda was very friendly and professional and sent my prescription to the pharmacy nearest to where I live. My visit was efficient, friendly, affordable and professional. I would recommend Trend to anyone who needs a very competent physician. The staff, including Claudia at the front desk, makes my visit well worth the time it takes for me to drive to Denton

I have been a patient here for over a year. The entire staff is amazing! They are all so friendly and talented.

I'm giving a 5 star because Tina, the nurse practioner gave me her undivided attention. She explained the possible outcome and treatment of my condition in a very clear and caring manner. The only problem I had with this clinic was/is their phone system. It took several failed attempts for me to get a hold of the nurse, when I finally did get through after voicemails and unanswered phones, the nurse gave me her direct line. I hope they fix their phone system.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Day down signed paper work. Not much of a waiting time. Seen the Dr. And the rest is history. In and out. Simple thanks to all.

Have gone to this clinic for years due to a workers comp injury, it has improved greatly in recent months. Staff is friendly and doctors are quite nice to deal with

I've been with this office (previously Wolmed) for about 3 years. To date I've been satisfied, having nice and caring people but not always well organized or efficient. This changed in a significant positive way since the re-branding to Trend Healthcare, it was not a simple name update. I just had a full physical with blood work and x-rays, in the age of Covid. My experience was superior, treated with dignity. My scheduling was efficient, timely, and all knew their jobs.as for the Dr.part I'm a fat guy, bluntly, and we know things can be awkward, keeping us away from preventive exams. Their treatment and techniques for respectful examination really made me very comfortable. I really appreciate it. The Dr. 's report was thorough, direct, but respectful, backed by data. I don't post reviews much, but I felt an honest experience might be helpful.

I am posting this long overdue review of Wolmed so that others may benefit from the experience that I had. I have always received great service from Wolmed with their Drs, staff and Rehab Staff as well. I recently needed the service of Violet Nobles, at Wolmed, and let me tell you this, she is very helpful and also very knowledgeable. She continually gave me support and assistance and would not stop until everything was worked out. If you have any questions that you need answered or need to know that someone has your best interests at stake, look no further than Violet. I would have to say that if you need her service that you will be impressed as well. She knows her job very well.

I've been dealing with quite a bit of pain for a year now following an ATV accident which broke several vertebrae. I've started physical therapy with Rebecca Noel and can say I actually see a light at the end of this tunnel of pain. She has been able to identify what appears to be the root cause of pain for the various parts of my back and develop a plan to treat that is actually showing progress. This is my third attempt at physical therapy. The major difference I see with her is the ability to make adjustments to my back as well as the more standard approach I've seen which is to provide direction with stretching and strengthening. It is a much more holistic approach to healing and one that makes a lot more sense to me to provide relief. I highly recommend her. She definitely knows her stuff.

I have been with Dr. Robert Helsten for many, many years. I have hom to thank for saving my life. By making me have blood work done each year, he discovered Hepatitis C. I was cured, with no liver damage. I have severe allergies, at times and Dr. Helsten and his wonderful staff know me and take very good care of any issues I may have. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
