Tricky Fish reviews
19Great food! Great atmosphere! Nice people! If there's ever anything weong then its usually something small like the waiter forgetting condiments. The only thing that prevents 5 stars is the fact that the drinks are very weak. You'd get more alcohol ordering a beer here than you would ordering a drink like Sunset On The Rox.
This is a great place to have a taste of Cajun. We come here as a date or with friends and we have never been disappointed
Amazing food and service! I cant say enough about how good the food was and if you want a great waiter ask for Damian, he went above and beyond!
We got a cheeseburger, fish and chips, Mahi, and fried shrimp poboy. Also got okra and Mac and cheese as sides Everything was amazing. Then we got the French toast Sunday for dessert and that was the best part. Service was great and the food was amazing.
Tricky Fish was a pleasant surprise. Everything we tried was very flavorful and delicious! Prices and service were also not bad. I think my only complaint was the weak cocktails, although they were very tasty. We will definitely be back for the food but probably stay away from the mixed drinks
Very nice staff. Food was Great! Had the DGS salad with grilled shrimp. Husband had a shrimp poor boy. It was my grand-daughter's 5th Birthday and before we left they gave her card with a $10 coupon inside.
This is the 2nd time I've picked up food here. The 1st time was excellent. This time not good. The fish had no flavor and my sides were half full. For $33, I expect better.
First time customer! Was looking for casual seafood dining and decided to give this place a try.
Interior: Rustic Industrial.
Meal: Shrimp was tasty, however the cabbage coleslaw mix did not have sauce on it, hence it was dry. Ended up putting hot sauce on the tacos for flavor and wetness.
Parking: Two hour parking spots available in front of restaurant.
The place was fairly empty so the meal came out pretty quickly.
Would recommend for a quick meal in a nice setting. Fall/Spring time would be great as well because there’s outdoor sitting.s
When my partner and I want to treat ourselves to some seafood this is the first place that comes to mind. From the Mac n cheese to the fried shrimp and even the salads, this place is so good! Highly recommend! Even the cocktails are delicious! Can’t go wrong with this place!
I had the tricky fish with salmon. It was quite good.
My wife had the fish n chips and it was also delicious. They have great fries and good mac n cheese. We had Cameron as our server and he provided exceptional service. Overall a pleasant experience.
Heads up, on a Friday night it is quite loud in here though.
Food was good and the service was terrific.
If you're looking for good food or just want to spend some quality time with friends over a cold beer, this is the place.
Definitely returning to this place next week! EVERYTHING was superb. Cocktail made just right, gumbo was flavorful, fish sandwich was amazing and the staff (hostess, bartender, owner and general manager) were very engaging.
Parked right across the street in the free parking garage. The staff is great. Hard at work. Manager on site, helping too, making sure everyone is happy and / or if you need anything. When a patron leaves staff cleans thoroughly ready for the next guest. Starter: ordered the shrimp & crab bisque (good taste - loved it), then the fish sandwich (was huge) and banana rum pudding with a great cup of coffee TV, small bar on site if you want to sit at the bar. Great place to meet up with friends/family.
They put bacon jam on their burgers. Need I say more? BACON JAM BACON JAM BACON JAM BACON JAM BACON JAM BACON JAM BACON JAM BACON JAM
Highly recommend this restaurant! They were extremely busy, but we still had quick service, and you could tell the manager was very hands-on. For food, we had the green tomatoes and the Texas striped bass, which were both incredible. If you want some great seafood, this is the place.
We ordered take out here. The food is flavorful and highly desired. My favorites were the "Tricky Fish" dish and the Mac & cheese. Check it out if you're in the area.
Shrimp and grits were awesome, etoufee was excellent. Specialty drinks were yummy… the raspberry smash and blueberry drinks. Staff extremely friendly. Highly recommend this place!
We had dinner and ordered the blackened fish and a mahi-mahi with lemon butter. The vegetables were not over cooked. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The service was great and did not have to wait too long especially because everything seems to be cooked on the spot. It’s not cheap but then again it’s good value for the quality of the ingredients and the way they prepare the food. Oh and the fish was cooked perfectly. My real estate agent Ms Kim recommend this place and she was not wrong.
Tricky fish was great! I had the catch of the day which was amazinggggg! All the waiters and waitresses were very helpful when it came to choosing menu items. I will be back)
