Mexican Restaurant Trigo's reviews
9The food exceeded my expectations and my server was so sweet, always checking in on me. I will definitely be making this a regular visit plus it’s just 1/2 mile the down the street from where I live.
Unfortunately the restaurant does not know the difference between shredded beef and chopped beef. Very disappointed on this issue. Food was very good but I did not get what I asked for or paid for.
Pricey for what your get. 4 tacos and 2 coffees 20.00. Just went again on 11/3/23 It's $16.00 for 3 skinny barbacoa tacos a scoop of beans and old refrigerated pico. Not worth it. Here's their menu.
I need to try this place again. Family recommended this spot so I tried it out. Came in around 10: 30am so I was wanting lunch so maybe I should have stuck with breakfast. Had the Carnitas plate but a bit dry. So again I will try it again. Wife had Menudo she said it was alright. See you soon. 2nd Time is always the charm.
Quaint neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Just as you walk in there's a community seating area that definitely gives the vibe of a small town neighborhood feel where neighbors are sharing a good meal and conversation.
A jukebox sits in the corner.
Love that they serve all-day breakfast!
I had migas with 2 french fries and refried beans for $15, which seems a bit pricey for no meat! My friend had Cabeza tacos (3) $13. Considering, my migas should've been 10-12 dollars. The salsa was tasty but watery.
Overall, the food was good and servers were attentive and friendly.
Food didnt have any flavor, my mom's faultas were basically burnt. I ordered a regular breakfast plate, pancakes were rubbery. Staff was okay and atmosphere was nice, but food wasn't worth it. They also gave themselves an extra $5 tip that I left them but, its whatever at this point. Most likely never returning again, was pretty desperate for something to eat that day.wasn't worth it imo.
Food was ok portion I got was mediocre, tortillas and beans were yummy. Not a fan of the salsa, chips were good.
I don't recommend it, it's too expensive, they only have one waitress for almost an hour to give you your food, apparently it's a place more for men than for families
