8They rebuilt my transmission and i had to take it back 3 times because it wasn't shifting right and the guy blamed it on the motor and he wouldn't do anything because to him it was fine. 2 years later and less then 10,000 miles the transmission blew up again. Had another shop rebuild the trans his time and the truck has never ran better
Rebuilt the transmission in my 1966 ford fairlane and kept inside the shop like I had asked

Took my 2005 F150 in at 210,000 miles for a rebuild. Shop called the next day and said was ready. Called me 10 minutes later and said it didn’t feel quite right and asked for more time. A few minutes again and ready to go. Smooth shifting and power back. Fast forward five years and 60k miles. Truck wouldn’t start and showed some signs of the issue being transmission related. Had it towed to the shop, and literally 3 hours later called and said it was done. They had found a neutral safety switch that went bad.
I just realized a day later that not only did they take good care of me in a hurry, they also re-aligned the shifter as well as lube the mechanism. Night and day.
When you find a good trans shop — you tell people. So here you go.

Made an appointment several weeks ahead of time. Called on appointment date and he said there wasn't room on the lot and couldn't touch my truck for another week. What was the point of making an appointment? This was the only week I could drop off and they really messed up my schedule. Lucky for me Amanda at Lynn's Auto Repair had my transmission rebuilt in 3 days!
Used this shop in past and was happy but this time was unexceptional. Dropped the transmission off and waited 2 weeks then was told he forgot about it and it would be ready 3rd week. 3rd week still nothing done and went down to shop on 4th week and still no rebuild. Was told sorry things happen. Took it to another shop and will be done in 3 days. Will not use tripple d again and advise you to check around.
