Trotter Family YMCA, Houston TX

Great place. Great Staff. Weight room is on par with some high-end places. It has a steam and jacuzzi. Only thing it is missing is a dry sauna

I am soo sorry to say that My kids experience from this Ymca is not at all good, I tried to give many chances and excuses, but they didnt even try to do some small effort to leave a good experience for soccor for my 2 boys, every game they have an excuse to put them out of the game, like the player number is not equvalent in each team, or the shin gaurds are missing or they put one of my kids in the opponent team, as my boys are polite and quite and they dont even express themselves, they obey waiting for a game next week which never came! And the training lessons were not at all helpful to prepare you for a game. If you are thinking of some place to help your kids love the soccor and do some sports which they didnt practice before, dont start here please. My experience with weekley ymca was the best (we tried it before that one). So i think i will always be there, despite its more distance from my home.

Good gym, they have typical YMCA maintenance issues. Rarely is whirlpool even warm but the machines are newish.

Can't say enough about Trotter, the fellow classmates and great teachers. I can truly sing in my heart when I'm there: "It's fun to go to the YMCA. "!

My family has been a long time member of the Trotter Family YMCA! We love the facilities, the people and the other members! The workout areas are expansive, the group classes are frequent and well coached, the lap swim in the pool is well organized.

I get a sense that an updated facility is in the cards at some time in the future! We’d love to see the neighborhood Y modernized!

PRO'S: Trotter Family YMCA is fine place to exercise with family or as an individual. Open year-round, heated lap pool, covered garage parking and good location makes this an ideal exercise spot to exercise.
CON'S: None except occasional summer time wait for lap pool usage

I like that there is an outdoor pool and sitting area, a tennis court, and plenty of classes compared to my closest YMCA

Nice family YMCA. Practiced swimming with the baby in the baby pool outside. It’s heated (~80 degrees today. Regular pool was 82). The women’s steam room worked and they had a working hot tub in the women’s locker room. We did the spin class but it was pretty empty. Baby was happy in the play room. They also had gyros that are good in the cafeteria.

The friendly staff is ready to assist in teaching me how to use the equipment and machines.

Great place to learn while having fun! Wonderful staff and people to meet. Brought my son to learn a new sports- he was highly motivated and encouraged by everyone. We have a great experience!

I’ve been a member for several years now. I love the Zumba classes along with all other classes the Y offers. Staff is awesome and instructors are on point. Love this location. Always kept super clean

I love the fairly intense classes, especially Les Mills Body Combat and Body Attack and appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff are whenever I need something!

No Shrek pasta, staff are too young, every child here is annoying (I hate kids), les réalisateurs sont ennuyeux.gym smells like graisse à hamburger. Je vais mettre en scène une révolution dans ton YMCA. VIVE LA RÉVOLUTION.

From the day I walked into the YMCA. I feel welcome. Having a place for my boy to belong has helped them to grow into respect, well round young boys. The staff is awesome, they understand your needs even before you ask. If you need a place to belong with your family this is the spot. See you at the Y. M. C. A!
