Tru by Hilton Waco South reviews
17 Decent for the price, but still lets down a lot.
Positives: Cheap, good location, cool lounge, excellent showers!
Negatives: Breakfast is minimal and kind of sad, walls are paper thin, amenities in room are almost non existent. Really bad towels. Felt like drying with a sandpaper dishrag.
Good deal, comfortable room, clean and quiet. As far as a view goes, your better off keeping the blinds drawn.
Really solid hotel, with a good location. Modern and clean. Only there for a quick overnight trip with the wife + kid, but nice enough to handle us three!
This is a very nice hotel. If you're accustomed to traditional hotels, this is not the place for you. The lobby furniture and decorations are very trendy and modern. There's a pool table. There's lounging furniture. The room was very spacious. There wasn't a closet. There were hooks to hang your clothes. The beds were very comfortable. The room we had was a long the trendy and minimalist side. There's like a long storage bench to sit your luggage, shoes, purse or you. There was a microwave and mini-fridge. I gave service because the front desk host did not speak when I arrived or left. Oh, and the walls are super thin. On one side we heard talking, and on the other side, we heard moving around and talking. Other than that, l liked Tru by Hilton, and I'd stay in this hotel brand again.
My stay at Tru Hotel was really nice. My first time ever staying at a Tru, but I can say I will stay at a Tru again. Clean throughout and courteous staff.
After staying here I realized why I do not like these Hotels. I like the fan to run while in the room to help with all the noise outside and people walking and talking in the hallway. Once the temperature reaches its temperature the fan cuts off. So during the night I was up several times changing the temperature. Next time I will stay at the Hampton Inn or Hilton.
The staff is incredibly friendly. The employee last night went out and looked for a luggage cart for me. The one this morning was also kind. He said the employee that was here last night was the one who trained him.
Staff members reminded me why I’m a Hilton honors member. Service was world class. From the cleanliness of the room, warm and friendly conversations and caring exchanges through my stay.
Absolutely loved my stay here. When I walked in the room it was already cold. Everything was super clean. No wrinkles in the sheets. Even the TV said welcome Emily. I absolutely loved this room and my experience here. I would definitely be coming back here every time I visit this area.
Absolutely amazing experience. Great rate, great location. My room was exceptionally clean. James, the front desk guy, is a superstar. He is professional and friendly. Ricky was excellent as well.
Awesome experience! Front desk was friendly, room was great, bed was like sleeping on a cloud with and refreshing, vibrant colors with blackout window shades. Superb!
Stayed here earlier this month on a weekend getaway. Guy (Billy I think) at the front desk was great. Place was clean and kid friendly.
Very nice hotel, very nice staff. 4 stars because of the breakfast but definitely not a deal breaker. I would stay here again.
I can say my stay there was very nice and welcoming! The person that checked me in late at night she was very nice. And I have been reading some of these comments and it was a lady being VERY RUDE when she was checking in because the lady behind the desk was trying to make sure it was ok for her to do something for the guest n she got rude with the lady checking her in (just sad) but I think the lady behind the desk handled it great and correct so she wouldn't get in any trouble with her boss which was only right. So maybe when y'all check in think about how you all are talking to people as well. Talk to them how you would want to be talked to. Because I think it really made the guest mad bbecause the lady behind the desk still did her job with a smile. KEEP UP THE GRRREAT WORK AND KEEP DOING YOUR JOB MA'AM!
Lovely hotel the people were really nice.for me the room was a bit small but the atmosphere was so great.walked into my room and hey.my tv had my name on the TV screen welcoming me to the room NICE.over all I would come back. It's super close to restaurants and the outlet mall.
Food was terrible, no amenities in room, soap dispenser empty. Price too high for what you get.
