Clean nice gym, just wish they had more free weights and flat bench for chest and incline. Love doing cardio here on the second level and lookout into the nice view of McAllen and Mission area. Overall decent gym.

Ive been a trufit member for going on four years, you would think they would take care of their loyal customers, this is just ridiculous and frustrating. This bad review isn't on the GYM or the staff but on the billing dept.and whoever their superior is you know who you are.you should try look out for customers too not just profit off of them.

Worst gym company EVER. I waited the entire year to cancel so I wouldn’t be charged extra and I was STILL charged for two extra months. I did everything right; went in person to give a written notice of cancellation, waited the proper amount of time until my contract was up, etc. And for what? Also, the people they have working there are NOT on the same page. Cancelled with one girl who was soooooo lost but assured me she “put a note on my file that I cancelled”, came back days later to check with a different person to NOTHING on my file and a completely different policy.

Nice gym, good and adequate amenities. There is plenty of disinfectant spray but not enough paper towel dispensers. Hand sanitizer is frequently out and bathroom soap is frequently out. Neither patron nor staff keep the weights put up.

Be aware! They won't explain many things to you, they just want to make money out of you. What ever you do. DO NOT GET A PERSONAL TRAINER. It doesn't matter if you can make it to the appointed, they said the trainer would send me a nutrition plan, the exercise and everything, but guess what, he didn't but they will charge me that week anyway. I couldn't go that day, but he never called me or moved those days to the next week. Horrible service.
To make it worse. They NEVER told me I would have a contract, and now they want me to pay that for 6 months!

Generally love this location but i go specifically for the women's section and today there was a male trainer in there. I get that he was a trainer and needed to be with his client, but i thought under no circumstances were men allowed.a lot of the gym was empty, don't know why they couldn't work out throughout the rest of the gym.working out around men makes me super uncomfortable so im sad they allow this.

Second floor always seems to have one of the paper towel dispenser empty. Elevator stinks. I get it's a gym, but an automatic air freshener can go a long way.

It's usually crowded from 5 to 7 pm. But it's a big place. You can still find machines available to conduct your routine with no problems

I loved the gym at first, but the showers run out of warm water sometimes and leave only lukewarm water or even cold water. Another thing is the policy change and now they lock up the exercise balls where once they were available to all to use on the third floor. Manager is unavailable so I am left getting information from the receptionist, or one of the trainers and the policy seems to change daily. Too bad because I was very satisfied with the rest of the facility, the locker rooms are nice and the machines are plentiful.

It is very convenient and it has a variety of different equipment & great machines for you to try it spacious I absolutely love it here

Totally disappointing! Finally had an opportunity to blow off some steam and have some much needed "solo" mommy time on the treadmill; while planning to catch up on some Enews. And SURPRISE! Dang tv's don't even work. I initially told my husband not to sign us up at this gym in the first place, because it looked dingy/dirty and I was right. Can't wait to NOT renew my membership and head back to Golds gym.where professionals go!

I would give 5 stars but with the new acquired gyms and merged memberships its getting really crowded.

It gets busiest past 3pm, so if you don’t mind waiting for a machine to be left alone then go after 3pm but before there’s much more freedom to be able to go by your work out without any obstacles.

Horrible customer service, managers are never available. Impossible to interact with the employees

I am not one to leave bad reviews but this gym has several issues that have not been acknowledged. The ceiling has been leaking since probably 6 months after this location opened up. Actually, about 3 months back parts of the ceiling fell down from the third floor all the way to the first floor which was extremely dangerous. The cardio machines will randomly stop working because they need to be reprogrammed. Also, the TV's on the cardio machines have not been working for over 6 months now. The paper towel dispensers have been empty for up to 4 hours leaving their members without paper towels to clean the machines they have been using. I would definitely avoid this Trufit location if possible.

Started off as a great place, semi-upscale.but.it has slowly gone down in quality.restrooms are dirty, showers are broken most of the time.the lockers, more than half have the locking mechanisms broken.

This is a great gym the equipment is good and the machines are available. There is 3 floor's the middle has most of the machines and free weights, the top has a trainer room and cardio, ab room. The staff are very friendly and there are restrooms on ever floor. There is a elevator system for disabled customers the environment is nice and friendly.

It does not fail that the men’s sauna is always a mess. I don’t know how often someone checks it or cleans it but it wouldn’t cost the managers anything to send someone at least once a shift.

Great place for workout, excellent staff and everything is really clean. Employees greet you as you enter or leave the facility, I personally go every day and enjoy all the greatness this fitness facility has to offer.

I'm a member and it is a great gym. I joined for the daycare and the ladies in the daycare are serious but great. I go in the morning because around 7pm it is so congested. Oh and great spinning class!
