Had a wonderful time at true foods with the best waitress, Abby! She was so fantastic she deserves a raise! Will be going back.

The food is good and that’s what keeps us going back. The service needs a lot of work though. Simply being greeted seems difficult for the hosts and servers. I think they may be understaffed, but there’s no excuse for not being trained in how to greet and communicate expectations with customers.

Food is always excellent and fresh. Seasonal options are what you should look out for. One of the better places for fish in Dallas, but everything else is great, too. Service is normally top notch. Atmosphere is more on the louder side because of poor acoustic isolation and very reflective materials, so just know that in advance. Limeade is hands down the best in Dallas.

Another fashion food location. Just had lunch so disappointing. No passion in the food. I feel like this is a common trend in DFW

If you want to go to a place where the quality of food will be guaranteed excellent and the staff really cares about you, then this is it. No other restaurant I've been in (including very expensive ones) puts as much care into the quality of ingredients and nutritional composition of the meals. The food here is not only highly delicious but it makes you feel good after eating it. You'll never feel tired or bloated after eating here. This food will uplift you as the food should. Managers and staff at this location really care about providing true care to the clients. They see to your special needs, and in the rare case of some problem they take very good care to make things right for you. I've been to other true food kitchen locations but in this location the service is truly the best of the best.

Asked Scott Bowman, CFO of True Food to reimburse me something other than a store credit for this culinary disaster. He refuses to even respond. Outrageous that True Food Kitchen would serve such trash. Not sure they understand customer service or complaint resolution.

I don’t know if this place is recently under new management or had a series of new hires but the past couple of times I’ve been there the service has left a lot to be desired.

First time I ordered my usual burger but the salad had a toping I hadn’t seen before, I assumed it was cheese so I checked with the server (since the burger was vegan and I am vegan myself) if the salad had cheese.

“No, it’s all vegan”

Ok. Assumed maybe it was a new toping.

Days after, I see they post the recipe for said salad on TFK’s instagram and it was in fact non-vegan, parmesan cheese on my salad.

I was not happy but decided not to dwell.

Second time I ordered a latte to go and the server basically gave me ¾ of a cup.

I asked her nicely if I could get a bit more and she refused like it was going to get taken out of her paycheck.

How money hungry is the owner of this place and how badly do they train the staff?

For $8 either fill the cup or charge whatever you need to charge for the cup to be filled.

In any case, it’s starting to become a hit or miss to come here whether it’s dine-in or take-out.

Vegans rejoice! Fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables. The hummus is full of flavor and one of the best I’ve ever had. (-feta). The mushroom pizza with the almond ricotta (nondairy) was very good. I’ll definitely visit here again to try different vegan-friendly items on the menu.

The food was average. I ordered the poke bowl, It was very bland. We sat outside, the tables are very close to each other, we could barely hear each others.

We specifically drove across Dallas with the expectation of a safe gluten free offering for my wife who has celiacs. We made the waitress well aware of our concern. We ordered gluten free lasagna as listed on the menu. It presented well on the plate. However, the taste was lacking and the large wads of cooked spinach were distasteful. That aside, the real issue presented moments later when my wife began to have a reaction to the food. She felt ill all the way back up to Oklahoma City yesterday evening. She is still feeling the symptoms this morning. We had much higher expectations from True Food Kitchen. Pitiful Performance!

Food was good and restaurant was clean. Gave 4/5 stars because it was a bit pricey and the service was kinda slow.
