Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood and Crab, The Woodlands TX

The service was amazing. Our waiter Britney was very attentive. I love the clean uniforms. The atmosphere was filled with lovely decor, plants and real flowers. My first experience was definitely one to remember and it was 5 star quality. Not to mention the view was relaxing and beautiful.

Sadly, this gem is no longer a gem! The happy hour that was amazing pre Covid is no longer. The food was terrible, the drinks expensive and very small. The bar used to be a bustling hot spot, no longer. Place was dead! Dont waste your money!

I came here with customers for a business dinner and can’t wait to come back again. Chris, the GM did an amazing job of making us comfortable and his staff gave 5 star service, even addressing me by name throughout our meal. All of our food and drinks were perfectly executed and in a beautiful setting. If you are in the area and want to impress this is the place to go!

Outstanding food and service. I'll say this: when it comes to small family celebrations, Truluck's remains unparalleled. The food, the cocktails, the ambience, and the profoundly gracious service are second to none.

We celebrated our oldest son's 20th birthday with a fabulous meal and a wonderful baked Alaska dessert.

The service from Benjamin was super. And when they learned that our youngest son was studying at Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, they were kind enough to let him take a quick peek into the kitchen to see how a professional kitchen is run.

We've loved every meal we've ever had here and Truluck's will always hold a special place in my heart.

I had high expectations but left disappointed. Service was great but food was less than average. We had a large party and everyone was disappointed in the food.

We made a reservation for our 2nd anniversary. The food was awesome, staff was awesome, and they even had some great options for my girlfriend who is vegan. Really loved the personal touch, it seemed like every staff member came by to wish us a happy anniversary. Top notch food and top notch service. Our server, Chris, helped to make us feel warm and welcome. Definitely enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

First off, we waited fifteen minutes to be seated on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was not busy with a lot of open seating. Then they seated us right next to a table of nine, which three were very loud children. It took thirty minutes to get a drink, in that time we spoke to four different waiters. Food was decent at best. Not worth the almost three hundred dollars I spent going there. The guy in shorts, tee shirt, and flip flops was awesome!

I always sit in the bar when I visit Trulucks. The bartenders are attentive and make a mean martini!

We could not have chosen a better place. From the valet attendants to the view, every phase of our visit was outstanding! Thanks Jason for being an awesome server.

I had the best Birthday ever last Saturday night! It was my 81st celebrated in style with my Son Ernie/Adam! The Stone Crabs were severed with perfection! Service superb from the wine, Champagne to flaming dessert wonderful! Can’t wait to go back?

Ryan made my 22nd birthday an experience of a lifetime! From the welcome at the front door to both managers on duty coming to wish me a happy birthday personally, the service was amazing! The stuffed South African lobster was to die for; the flavor was delicious throughout. Also, they gave us a free dessert for my birthday, and it was amazing! The live piano players was also amazing for the scene and occasion. We can’t wait to come back!

This review was based on my experience a few months ago:

Waiters had an argument about who was going to take our table! - right in front of us.
This was our parents anniversary dinner! Food was great, service was terrible.
At the end of the night, the waitress who originally was “supposed “ to take our table told us she would’ve done a better job. Also, the staff was hanging out all at one table as if we were still not enjoying our dinner in the table next to them. We felt very rushed to get out.
I understand we were there at a later time, but this was supposed to be a special dinner and it was a disappointment.

All you can eat crab claws on Monday nites. Fabulous! We were celebrating our anniversary and they surprised us with a Baked Alaska. Service was terrific. Our waiter, Kevin, was was efficient and engaging. Definitely my favorite seafood restaurant.

Get a table at the window and keep an eye out for the resident bald eagles. Great place to have a really good meal in a picturesque setting.

We used Trulucks outdoor patio and private dining space for our rehearsal dinner and it was really wonderful! Great ambiance and delicious food!

Me and my girlfriend came here for our anniversary and Victoria was amazing plus the food awesome I'd recommend this place to anyone
