Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital of Lubbock reviews
16Won’t ever send anyone here reuse and disrespect and think they know more and what’s right for your love one
Every employee from nursing to therapy were professional and a joy to be around. They got my husband back to his prior level of function quickly. Special thanks to Cheryl and Gloria.
I would give negative stars if I could. Please do not send your loved ones here. The nurses here (with the exception of maybe 2) have no idea what they are doing and can careless for the people that are there. It is truly sad and hurts my heart to know and see how they treat the patients. There is no way this place is in the top 10. They must have just had that made for marketing.
This facility was entrusted to care for my grandfather after his stroke. For a few weeks things were going fine, until a group of nurses and administrators started being really disrespectful and uncaring. I understand COVID policies and procedures, however the approach of being informed of these rules were inconsistent throughout the staff. I am fully aware of the requirement to limit visitors for everyone’s safety, but on one occasion the staff chose to argue with my family assuming we were disregarding the policy. Our intentions were never to overstep those boundaries. No one needs to be treated this way. Staff should focus on holding on to the values of the hospital and keep negative comments to themselves. Most importantly, if COVID safety is a priority in this hospital, then maybe staff members should stay 6 feet apart from each other and keep their masks on properly.
They Kind and Good, Enough of Patience while dealing with Patients. Kind-hearted Therapists
I received excellent care at Trustpoint. All staff were concerned for my comfort and recovery so I could get back to my normal daily activities. I would recommend Trustpoint to anyone needing rehab.
I received physical therapy at Trustpoint for approximately 10 months to treat a chronic disability. The care I received was stellar; easily the best I've had in the entirety of my life to date and 30+ years of experience in and out of physical rehab. Every person employed at the hospital was competent, compassionate, professional, and pleasant. From Kelsey the receptionist, to Seth, the Therapy Director, and Michelle the scheduling coordinator and insurance liaison, every member of staff I interacted with on a regular basis took a personal interest in my progress and recovery, treating me with great respect, and making an otherwise difficult process very fulfilling and enjoyable.
A special thank you to Emily, my therapist for the duration of my treatment. She was easily the most effective and knowledgeable therapist I've had, and was passionate and steadfast about my treatment. I can't recommend her highly enough. Her colleagues, the other therapists I worked with occasionally, Clare and Dominique, were also wonderful, as were the others I had the pleasure of meeting. The facility is clean, the patients well cared for, and the staff experienced and qualified in their ministrations. Expect to receive sterling treatment in a positive environment with a personal touch.
Not a great place! Nurses can be rude! My grandma was brought food with chewed up gum stuck on top, which is disgusting!
I had a Spinal Injury and this is where I went from being a paraplegic to walking with assistance in about a month! I will never forget the wonderful staff, The PT's, OT's, Nurses, dietary, the Directors, Dr's and everybody else in between! Thank you Trustpoint for everything!
Dr chekuru was encouraging and attentive to our requests. The therapists were encouraging and always explained what I was to do at each step. Thanks to Liz in OT, Sarah in st and Kayla in pt. There were others that were equally helpful whose names I can’t remember. The nurses and techs were prompt and friendly in response to our needs. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need.
My son was here for a week after intensive back surgery and obtained an infection to the wound with e.coli. Anyone that knows healthcare knows that e.coli is only from BM in a poorly cared for wound dressing. So now he has to endure another hospital stay and 6 weeks of intensive IV antibiotics. Thank you Trustpoint "hospital" lol as you call yourself. This used to be an ok place, the first time my son stayed years ago.
The staff at Trustpoint, from front desk, nursing, therapists, social workers were outstanding. They showed true, personal care and concern for my Mother and her recovery.
This is a great facility with a caring and professional staff, that take pride in helping family and loved ones regain the ability to return to society.
Amazing care. Staff was wonderful. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about Trustpoint!
If rehab or physical therapy is needed, this is the place to be. The staff is awesome; the therapists are outstanding. Good job to the owners of TrustPoint!
The doctors and therapist were good working with my 86 year old mom. I did continually ask them about spreading her 3 therapy sessions out during the day instead of having all 3 hours of therapy in the morning. Even though the doctor agreed the schedule was never changed. When it came time for discharge the case worker Jackie advised all was set for discharge the next day-Friday The day of discharge one of the therapist advised we might not be going home that day as COVID test results hadn’t come back. We were never told that was a possibility. We had arranged at her independent living facility for additional paid assistance for her starting that day. I quickly called and had to advise them unsure when will be dismissed. The nurses seeing my situation did contact Jackie and instead of her coming/or calling to speak with us she sent another case worker to advise It could be as late as Monday for discharge. The day of discharge we were ready to go and nurse advised us a case worker had said the people suppling oxygen needed more information. I had spoke with them the day before and I was told all was good to go when got discharged so I was somewhat confused. I waited over a hour and never hearing from the case worker I called the oxygen supplier myself and got all taken care of in about 10 minutes
