Tucker's Kozy Korner reviews
14Google led me, the hubby, daughter and her boyfriend to this place for a late night dinner. We all had the Tucker's burger with a side of french fries and it was great!
The manager here is so rude and I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Managers name is Anthony, he hates his job and treats other employees like peasants. What a shame. Food is not so great. Needs new management!
The bartender adrian made nonstop gay slurs which was unappreciated (swear he is a flamer himself) and my organization will NOT be returning.
Decent atmosphere but filthy, it is a dive bar
Food is mediocre so wouldn’t recommend due to sanitation
Staff gets rowdy near closing
Between the music and the atmosphere here, I felt like I was at the airport bar in Jackie Brown. This is the coolest little bar I have ever been to. Started out with dumplings as an appetizer, one of my favorites. Then had pho with Texas brisket on top.amazing. Never had pho at a bar before, and I am from southern California, unique! Also, the burger and fries here smelled and looked killer. If you're in downtown San Antonio, which is a beautiful city, similar to Los Angeles, this bar is a must.
Great place to hang out with friends and colleagues! Service is terrific and live music on the weekends is on point! Drinks always cold and delicious!
Every visit is always a good one! Cute little bar that reminds me and my fiancé of home! We usually come for the smash burgers on Sunday’s but the bar service is always exceptional!
They served me and my family last night and the food was amazing. Their Bahama mama is top tier. Great service.
New owners new menu. Vietnamese food with a brisket teaser. Pho was good but chicken spring rolls had dried out chicken and was told about the large portion of a side of brisket for $7 you get a slice. Brisket was probably cooked in Crock-Pot.
I went for happy hour with some friends. The food was pretty good for a dive bar. I would call it elevated bar food.
The service on the other hand, wasn’t the best. It was pretty dark and quiet when we walked in. It’s a lounge, so of course the lighting is going to be dim. They have some cool wall decor and an old jukebox in the corner. It seems like one of those places where a lot of regulars go, and if you’re not a regular, you’re not really welcome.
I got two margaritas while I was there. The first one was delicious! I was really impressed. However the second one clearly had no liquor in it. It tasted like sweet and sour over ice.
I asked the bar tender if I could get an extra shot for my margarita because it didn’t taste like the first one and she said she’d have to charge me for it… I didn’t argue with her, but when she poured my shot she only had enough tequila in her bottle to pour half a shot. It gave me the impression that she was under pouring drinks to save tequila.
I told her that half a shot was fine with me because I wasn’t worried about the alcohol content. I just didn’t want to be drinking what tasted like a cup of sweet and sour She didn’t end up charging me, which was great.
I definitely won’t be going back, but if you’re looking for a local dive bar/lounge to hang out at or have some drinks before going out, I would recommend this place.
Good cocktails, great vibes from the live band and the BBQ fried rice is delicious.
However, Bartenders are more preoccupied with their friends than the customers
Came here in the evening for noodles and did not disappoint. Driving or walking by you might not think to stop by, but the food and drinks were great.
Small and cozy spot. Food was good and a little unique. Disappointed with the canned soda, but overall a cool spot to visit.
It’s my first time here at tuckers & I had the tuckers burger, I was very pleased with it and would definitely come back to make it my go to burger joint.
