As previously stated in other reviews. Avoid this place especially if you are a large group.
We had 15 ppl so the bill was $2000 + bill. They require you to choose from a set menu priced at $75 pp. + 20% gratuity + tax.
Food is basic and restaurant is over priced PERIODT.

Came for a birthday dinner, service was slow, food was 3/10, cute decorations but will not return

Great atmosphere, food and food recommendations from our lovely server, Alfredo, were fantastic. Beautiful setting.

Caleb was very patient with me and helpful I had a few drinks before coming in but he took care of me and my girl friend and also wanna thank Eric with the drinks he came up with a drink that was perfect I wish I can remember what it was

We had our monthly bookclub meeting here today and when I say we had zero complaints I meant it!
Our server, Fredo, was nothing short of spectacular! The food and drinks were so delicious plus it was great for pictures.
Go visit and ask for Fredo!

We’ve made a long drive to dine at Tulum on many occasions over the last year or so. The food is innovative, the atmosphere fun, a real hidden gem.

Among us, we’ve tried a majority of items on the menu. But the standout was an unusual offering, mushroom enchiladas. Absolutely divine, a vegetarian offering that easily competed with all the carnivore options available. They were my first choice the last two times we had been to the restaurant.

Because of that, I selected Tulum as the location for a small group last night, one of the group I know to be a vegetarian. I was excited to bring her to a restaurant where I knew she would be able to make a selection that wasn’t an “also ran“ with the rest of the items on the menu. You can imagine my disappointment when I opened the menu to see that they were no longer offered.

I asked my server about it, and he stated that “corporate came in and decided to remove some of the items that weren’t selling”. He said they could still do a vegetarian dish, for instance, they could “take the shrimp relleno and just remove the shrimp and substitute some vegetables”. Yawn.

I understand that in a restaurant like Tulum, a vegetarian dish is not likely to compete in numbers with all of the other items on the list. However, I cannot imagine that there would be a large overhead in having that one item available, regardless of how few plates are ordered every night.

I’ll probably go back, but the trip will be a little less special for me than it has been in the past.

Wow! I love the food, the ambiance and the drinks! Great hospitality! Unique flavors that makes you feel you are in Tulum, been here a couple of times always trying a new plate, and never disappointed! And Of course I am coming back. Alfredo took care of us and wouldn’t be more thankful for his service and suggestions!

Nice dinner, bad service we waited at reception for 10 mins while she was on the phone, no one helped very empty also. Only about 8 people there

This place is absolutely garbage. The food is subpar and extremely over priced. Portions are extremely small. Everything was flavorless. I was extremely disappointed. Not worth the price. The drink I had was not even tasty. I couldn’t get out of that place fast enough. I hated every moment of it.

Ordered the fish tacos for $24. Comes with white rice, which tasted like cardboard or from a box. The tacos weren’t bigger than the palm of your hand. Very basic toppings, with basic white rice. Limes were old and decrepit.

Service was horrible. Bartender tried to overcharge us 2 extra drinks that we didn’t have. Chips and salsa are $8! No chip refills unless you pay. This place is all about taking instagram pictures but the food is garbage. The worst Mexican I’ve had in Dallas.

$24 for tacos the size of my hand is ridiculous. $17 for a mojito that doesn’t taste very good. Guacamole tastes like it’s from a plastic container and not homemade but it costs $17. Flavorless.

Do not waste your time here. There are 10000 better options for half the price. This is the worst Mexican I’ve ever had. Ever.

It was our first time and everything was absolutely amazing! Every dish was picture perfect full of flavor, not a single item was bad. David was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and his suggestions were perfect as we loved each item! The only critique I have is that it seemed a few tables were wonky and needed napkins placed under the legs (we requested one which already had one and a table near us also requested one). Highly recommend, we will be back as there are several items that look like they are worth trying!

We have been coming here for years mostly for happy hour drinks and light bites. Amazing and unique food and great service. Highly recommend anyone who hasn’t been to check it out.

What a beautiful restaurant! The food was delicious. We started off with Beef Short Ribs Tostaditas, which were so good. For main course we had Cochinita Pibil Tacos and The Grilled Fish. Both were scrumptious! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Eric was phenomenal, food was outstanding, service was perfect. Drink pours are heavy. Will be back for sure

Pork belly and tuna tower were delicious, elegant ambiance, and a warming staff. Hector was our server and he ensured that my mom had a wonderful B’day dinner; she was celebrating her 65th so we had to choose a proper restaurant. Hostesses Toni and Delilah were welcoming and attentive. Definitely coming back. To the owner and management: please keep the staff happy because they definitely keep the clients happy.

Great food and atmosphere. Kitchen closes at 10 on some nights with no warning from the server so you have to be careful if you decide to add to your order late. One plate came out with cilantro which we specifically asked them to omit and the server didn't offer to exchange the meal but the manager stopped by to talk and offers to take it off the bill. We declined the offer but it made the experience better that someone cared. Food was incredible as were the drinks!
