Turquoise Trading Post reviews
13I've been shopping here for years, especially around birthdays and holidays. They have unique gifts that I can't find anywhere else, also interior decor items and generally cool stuff.
Warning: This store has a no refund policy but they never tell you and admit that they don't tell anyone about their policy! You find out when you need to make a return - and then you are SOL!
Never in my life have I seen just a compendium of just museum grade tortoise jewelry. Every where I looked, my mouth just dropped again and again. The beautiful rainbows of colors match the beautiful people working there. Beautiful energy flows through this place. I also bought a flute other than a turquoise necklace. The flute is beautiful and a good price. Prices range from affordable luxurys to red carpet statement pieces. It's like a starry clear sky with the amount of gems glistening around you. Next time I'm in Texas I will be there again. Just with a fatter wallet.
Great selection of turquoise rings and bracelets. Save yourself a trip out of town and go here. Prices are reasonable and they offer many sales and specials on the regs.
Loved loved loved this Native American Jewelry boutique! I had a great time shopping with their crew for a couple of hours. Friendly, fun, and knowledgeable staff who are extremely gracious and helpful.
They have a very large selection of beautiful pieces with high-quality turquoise (from a good variety of mines) and excellent craftsmanship (bracelets, earrings, rings, pendants, necklaces).
I have been collecting Native American jewelry for years, so I know what I'm looking for, and they had some very unique pieces worthy of adding to my collection.
Prices are reasonable and range from inexpensive into the thousands for the highest quality items.
The shop is in a strip mall, but don't let that deceive you. There is a lot here for the serious collector.
They feature some items online as well and will ship.
I will be back every time I am in Austin!
I've visited here many times over the years. I am always thrilled by the beauty of the jewelry even if I can't afford it. I can always afford the incense. Please go and visit the shop kitty!
Dont be fooled by the strip mall location. This place is an authentic Austin treasure. TTP has THE best quality silver jewelry (with/without stones), a friendly, knowledgable and no-pressure staff, and terrific prices. I have (and have given) beautifully crafted rings, earrings, necklaces, pins and belt buckles from TTP, with exquisite pieces from renown artists from New Mexico and elsewhere.
If I could leave a 0 I would, as a full blood Native American I was eager to visit this store. But unfortunately it was a horrible experience. Sadly, the ladies working there were following me around in the store. I’m assuming thinking I was going to steal? I look around & there’s plenty of other (Caucasian) people shopping around yet their attention was fixated on me. I ended the browsing quicker than I wanted to just because I felt so uncomfortable. Hardly wanted to spend my money here. Will be purchasing from a GENUINE native store.
One of our favorite places to shop for unique and beautiful gifts. Lived nearby for years and just went back after about five years and could not believe how perfect it still was. Treat yourself and go!
I was looking for a special silver and turquoise necklace and found it here. The staff were very friendly and generous with their time in helping me select the perfect item. Highly recommend and will be coming here again soon.
Its an awesome store that have lots of nice Indigenous jewries and other interesting Indigenous arts and crafts at affordable prices and place where you can put your merchandise on layaway and I enjoy the friendly employees that work with you. I been going to Turquoise Trading Post since 1993 or 1994. I highly recommend this store to anyone, thank you for your friendly service.
Came here looking for a gift for my mother. Excellent selection of turquoise jewelry. Nikki was extremely helpful with my selection process. Will definitely be back!
