Walked in the door and the two ladies were chatting up a storm while Michelle was busy eating at the counter. I said hello and walked to the cooler. I picked out my item’s quickly and approached the counter to have the blonde lady look at me as if I interrupted them. She proceeded to say “that it” I said why yes it is… I looked at Michelle and I clearly heard the girl at the register say “rude people” I’m not sure what they were talking about but it was evident I was unconvincing them by being there. I give 3 stars because I love the store, and I know sometimes people are having a bad day.
Roll up to the store at 8: 56pm, guy immediately warns us they are closing, ok fair enough. Spend all of two minutes perusing the whiskey section, I ask for a recommendation of a TX made whiskey, pick one out and walk to the counter. Mid walk the associate is like "sorry it's 9pm. I can't sell it to you". What? ! Ok TX law I get it, but we were in the store before 9pm hustling and literally pulling out the credit card. It wasn't even 9: 01 yet. Guy is nuts, selection and prices seemed fine, terrible terrible service. Classic case of letter of the law vs.spirit of the law. Get it, SPIRIT.
