Tyler's Barbeque, Amarillo TX

We stopped here on our drive from Phoenix to Alabama. I'm a barbecue junky so it was fun to eat some real Texas barbecue in Texas. The brisket was smoky with good flavor. I really loved the jalapeño corn side and the slaw was light and refreshing. Bonus points for the self-serve Coke fountain. It's a cool joint and worth the stop.

The food was very good, although I wasn't impressed with the baked beans.

I would stop here to eat again the next time I'm driving through on I40

I picked up a few pounds of various Meats to take back to Colorado and nibble along the way. Not much of it made it back but what did was appreciated by the family. First time in this barbecue location and had no idea that just the week before they had been close to flooding from high water. I appreciate the staff recommendations for the sides and throwing in a couple of extra barbecue sauces.

Super friendly and lots of seating, the best barbque BBQ I've had in 2 years. Not a huge fan of their Cole slaw, but everything is top notch.

The wait in line wasn't bad, the service was great (with a smile). The atmosphere was adequate. The hot barbecue sauce was wonderful!

Any Time I come to Amarillo this is a must stop and the quality never changes just as good as the first time

We love Tyler's bbq! It is by far the best bbq in the area! If you get bbq from any other place, you are settling for second best.

Awesome award winning BBQ! Possibly the best I’ve had and I’ve been on a quest to find the best BBQ! So extremely tender and flavorful! I didn’t even need BBQ sauce. They have so many awards on their wall and I can see why. I had the plain moist brisket just so I could try it. My husband had the chopped sandwich plate with cream corn and tea. He said it was delicious and a great value. They are definitely dog friendly on their spacious patio with cool water. And the patio is well thought out and smart outdoor fans and misters to make it cooler. They also have a grass area for dogs to do their business. Come for the amazing BBQ!

Ordered brisket for family and it was delicious. Highly recommend trying this bbq restaurant.

This is the best barbecue I've ever had. When we drive to Dallas from Denver, we leave Lakewood (Denver suburb) at 4 or 4: 30 in the morning. This enables us to miss all rush hour traffic in the Denver & Colorado Springs areas. We are really smart that way, but the best part of it all is, is that we end up in Amarillo right around lunchtime. And God Bless Tyler's. Get the Peach Cobbler. Exquisite. Some kind of Gingerbread dough, just exquisitely good.

Tyler’s has some of the best barbecue in Texas. Must stop here when passing through! Ribs are excellent.

I had the Ribs special (3 ribs, was given 5 but no complaints here, chips, and toast, with a drink for under $20). Great atmosphere, Tyler walks around and talks to people. A woman sitting next to me told me all about the town and everything. Great place, 12/10 would recommend.

Stopped here on the way home to Tennessee. Now we have excellent BBQ in Memphis to be sure, but Texas BBQ served here is outstanding. It was so good that I had to take an extra sandwich with me for later. You really should find a reason to go through Amarillo just to eat here!

Driving across the country and stopped here. It was amazing! The food was incredible. The best bbq I’ve ever had.

Google recommend this place and we hadn't been happier! Best BBQ we had in all of Texas. Definitely will be coming back!

Owner was so friendly and the place was very clean. The food was so delicious. They have an outside patio you can bring your dogs out on!
